Polaris and Power Man have been brought in as part of the contingency if the duo escape. A fight breaks out during which Power Man takes the blows while the Paladin tries some fancy manoeuvres to evade being hit whilst trying to tranquilise either of the two. Polaris uses her magnetism powers to stop cars flying through the air and stabilise buildings that are damaged in the fighting. They are spotted, but their real activities go undetected, as they make a show of dropping Binks into the well and letting him get irradiated beyond all recovery, and subsequently chortling happily like fatuous fanboys.
