The Shared Starship Superdraft

Our Ship has.... 13 working and improved models of the Genesis Device

They're pretty sure they got that protomatter glitch gone with more stable longer lasting stuff, and worries that the Infinite Improbability Drive might..set one off, have been dismissed, for now. Because one man's 'dead world' is this ship's Fixer upper! By Roddenberry, those colonists in cold sleep will get their world to settle one way... *Activates device* Or another

And yes, this means the PLANS for how to make a device might also be in the grasp of the ship or crew.. MIGHT.

But the good news is these 13 planet terraformers will never ever be abused or hunted down by those who might want to weaponize them. What bad could happen?

Interesting. Genesis device and a improbability drive means that we can go anywhere and make anything habitable, but we still need our colonists in coldsleep? This suggests that setting them up requires more than just finding a place or getting there. Perhaps the reason we have a public relations officer AND a protocol officer is that our ships top obstacle is diplomatic? Sure, there's dead worlds everywhere, but they're all variants of the Diaoyutai/Senkaku Islands problem.

Our ship has... a full complement of Colonial Vipers, and pilots to fly them.

Commander Ivanova still prefers the Starfury, but the Viper's superior speed, especially with Turbo Boost, has its advantages as well.

Hmm, interesting dynamic here. Captain Blue (equivalent Fleet rank First Lieutenant, I believe) will be in charge of the jarheads. I don't know if our ship's Captain has experience with (or even the capacity for) flying a Viper, so that pretty much puts Ivanova in charge of the fighter pilots. There will probably be some friction there.

That's assuming that the damned A.I. doesn't just decide to overrule (and/or space) all of us puny organics and take over all the operations itself, of course.
