1. Re: Sample Convention Character Sheet My replies to your comments: 1) You mean take out the 60 and simply have STRENGTH 21- Lift 102.4 tons; 12d6 HTH Damage? 2) I'm trying to avoid going far beyond the published character sheets. I'd hate to show them character sheet A, have them open a book, and see character sheet B. 3) I was lazy. I debated taking those out. I think I will. 4) I noticed that myself. I might take out the "Group" part. 5) "Generic Set Of Super Hero Abilities" is the SFX (taken from some of the Captain's actual dialogue). I could cut this to "Resistant PD and ED." One thing I was going to stress if/when I run this, was that I'd start with a brief intro to the character sheet. Saying something akin to "this is almost what you'd see in a published character sheet" and going from there. I'll work on the Captain's sheet some more and post the revised edition.
2. Re: Sample Convention Character Sheet I'll also keep the full character sheets (with all the numbers) for those people who want to see what a published sheet will look like.
3. Re: Worst Hero Names (of your campaigns) I only heard about this one -- "Rectifier." And then there was the guy who was brutally honest about his name -- "I... don't have a name yet." Finally, we had a guy in a sweatsuit and ski mask with electrical powers -- the Unishocker.
4. Re: weapon/item derived powers? How the...? I think a lot of 40s-50s-era characters have OIAD. Hourman comes to mind/

6. I actually have several Con scenarios in my head and on paper, and hope to finally find the time to finish them. While doing so, I developed the following character sheet that will probably be what I hand out to people. What do you think?
7. Re: Duplication loophole? Yes, that's good tactical sense for agents and mooks. But you really need to talk to your GM about how he's using Teamwork. He's applying it unfairly.
8. Re: I love me some xenomorphs! So they're cunning, but not overly intelligent. Well, they are drones, after all. The queen did seem to have a higher degree of smarts, though.
9. Re: Do I need the 6th Martial Arts book? Yeah, baby!

11. Re: More Complications, Please Actually, 6E already handles this and I think it's an excellent idea. In 6E I say 300 points with 100 points of matching Complications. And if you only come up with 75 points of Complications, then your character is only going to be 275. I like that idea. As for going over with 0 point Comps, I do think it's a case of "do you need this"? I like the lowered totals as I think it makes things easier on the player and GM. Now you concentrate only on the most important elements.

13. Re: More Complications, Please Lucius, I'm going to have to disagree with that idea. If the GM says 200+100, you get a 300 point character, no matter how many extra Complications/Disads you think are appropriate for the character.
14. Re: Duplication loophole? Normals don't buy equipment with Character Points.
15. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Mine are due Wednesday. So when will GA do his review?
16. Re: "Neat" Pictures Oh yeah. The book has (IIRC) the Flintstone's house, the Simpson's house (I think), the Brady Bunch house, the Leave it to Beaver house, Green Acres, and others.
17. Re: "Neat" Pictures I don't recall that one....

19. Re: "Neat" Pictures I'd have to check the author's name. It's actually a really useful book it you need various suburban houses and the like.
20. Re: "Neat" Pictures I have a book of floorplans like that.

23. Re: I love me some xenomorphs! Yes... but it wasn't sold in the US for some reason. It was sold in Japan (and possibly the rest of Asia).
24. Re: Unsure how, why, where... or _whether_ to start! Let me say simply... "Ditto for me." HD is also very useful for building masses of powers, equipment, vehicles and so on. And once you collect various HD characters and template packs, you can slap together all sorts of designs in minutes.
