  1. Re: I love me some xenomorphs! Yes... but it wasn't sold in the US for some reason. It was sold in Japan (and possibly the rest of Asia).
  2. Re: Unsure how, why, where... or _whether_ to start! Let me say simply... "Ditto for me." HD is also very useful for building masses of powers, equipment, vehicles and so on. And once you collect various HD characters and template packs, you can slap together all sorts of designs in minutes.

  4. Re: Forget about flying cars... Hmm... any Kazei 5 companion volume needs to feature these!
  5. Re: Basic Rulebook If you need characters to look over, you can take a look at my site (http://surbrook.devermore.net/index/) which has hundreds of characters for a wide assortment of media as well as other Hero System material. Most are in 5E (with a few even in 4E), but there's a growing collection of 6E characters.
  6. Re: Unsure how, why, where... or _whether_ to start! I'll second (third, whatever) Hero Designer. Also, I try to have an HD file anything I've personally done on my website.
  7. Re: More Complications, Please When I converted Kazei 5 over to 6E, I found a lot of the NPCs had more Complications than was required. I did two things -- trimmed out the fluff on many of them, but also made many of then 0 points. I then wrote into the character creation section a note to this effect -- that due to mandatory complications from Templates, you'd probably go over the Complication points... in which case you zero out any that go over and keep them all on your character sheet as I feel they are all equally important to defining the character.
  8. Re: I love me some xenomorphs! Which leads to the question of which source is the base and which is an aberration.... hurmmmm.
  9. Re: A Robert E. Howard moment..... Actually, the movie seems to be based on the L Sprauge de Camp and Lin Carter expanded Conan history.

  11. Re: Make Your Own Motivational Poster Density helps. As does letting the liquids sit long enough to settle out.

  13. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Hmm... I wonder if IKEA stocks that?
  14. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition A little flag perhaps... some nice cheese. A good beer. A bikini team or two.
  15. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Nope.
  16. Re: I love me some xenomorphs! The Alien boxed set... Asian edition.
  17. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Woot! And, of course, anything unusual from your neck of the woods would be cool. A few coins, a single paper note, post cards, maps, pins, that sort of thing.
  18. Re: Female Master Villains Especially if Adam Hughes or Frank Cho is drawing Wonder Woman.
  19. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Well, I'd still like an actual audio CD of Total Balalaika Show. And the album Happy Together.
  20. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition I hope it lives up to your expectations.
  21. Re: "Neat" Pictures I was right! Gears of War!
  22. Re: Do I need the 6th Martial Arts book? There will be more martial arts styles in HSMA that what was in the 5E UMA (I talked to Steve about some of them). HSMA will also have 225-250 sample martial arts powers (written by me), arraigned in order from Real World, Cinematic, Wuxia, Video Game, Anime, and Ninja. Each section will present powers in the fashion common to Hero books these days -- Offensive, Defense, Movement, Sensory, Miscellaneous. There's everything in there from Acrobatics to the Thousand Sword Cloud. So... yes.
