Re: More space news! A few hours after the meteor exploded in Russia, another one was seen over the San Francisco Bay Area. It was nothing as dramatic as the Russian meteor, thankfully.

Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I've actually seen that in a couple of Japanese restaurants in San Francisco years ago. Any uneaten portion means an addition to the bill. I never ate in those restaurants again out of principle.

Re: The cranky thread Sorry to hear that, John T, I know the feeling. I'm considering quitting my job, except that I'm drowning in debt. I'm supposed to schedule a performance review this month. I'm going to talk about my dissatisfaction, but I need to do it in a way that won't get me fired. And I need to calm down so I don't say "f*** it, I quit" either. So I've been postponing that meeting. Right now I'm too angry and self-destructive.

I registered over the weekend, but my activation e-mail never arrives, so I can't log in. Re: The cranky thread I am pretty much done with my job. I've wanted to move up for a long time, but there's nowhere to go. It's also apparent the powers that be don't want me to move up. The only option is to move one. The problem is, I have a really hard time getting hired. I'd like to do something else besides teaching, but I've been doing it for so long, potential employers don't seem to see me as anything but a teacher. So I'm stuck doing a job I hate, and I can't find a way out. And people wonder why I'm always in such a foul mood.
