One isn't a superhero per se but a potential side kick/DNPC Masque: A raccoon/human hybrid pc from my Bay City Blues Champions game, escaped Viper experiment Keiko (also my avatar) from the Empire City Guardians campaign I play in after her cousin's attempt to get her dress in something "modern" actually succeeded. Spring, a street kid that saw too much and is now under the protection of the PC in my Dawn of Heroes Dark champions game.

Re: Social System For some but there's more than a few find it a major pain or haven't figured it out yet. I know I'm one of them. A convenient interface for toggling comeliness on and off would be a check in the pro column as far as purchasing any future versions of it But I think we're drifting off topic.

Re: Social System It is possible but I can't imagine what those changes might be. It will mainly be a PIA for the extra work. It's easier to ignore things that build them back in generally.

Re: Regenerating Touch As for putting Damage Shield on Healing I don't see why that should be verboten but it is officially allowed to be placed on Clinging.

There's been some borderline flame wars over Comeliness since the annoucement of 6th edition and your statement just struck me as funny in light of that. You seem to have joined recently so there's no reason you'd know about them, of course but I couldn't resist

Re: Cuts through anything Here's how I'd do it if I had too HKA, AVLD vs Energy sfx defenses*, Does Body. *Energy Shields and the like. Could also be vs Unobtanium and similar "indestructible" alloys.

Re: The Greatest American Hero It seems like the other players were kind of jerks about something that happened in a game (the in game consequences were fine but the OOC stuff sounds kind of over the top and childish). The GM allowed the character, the mechanics were followed and Limitations are supposed to be, well, limiting. I mean I wasn't there and it could have all bee in a good fun but that's the impression I got.

Re: Regenerating Touch I think I'd just house rule and allow Damage Shield on Healing for this ability. Alternatively there is an optional advantage in the Ultimate Energy Projector that allows Adjustment powers that only restore things to starting levels to ignore Fade Rate (Like it worked in 4th edition, IIRC).

As a short cut how about giving Ralph's suit a large VPP with some very stringent limits to cover his constant development of one shot or plot convenience powers? His strength, flight and the other powers he constantly and consistently uses would be outside the pool

I have a character who calls herself "Hero Girl". Her ability set is based around the fact she suffers from a deep delusions that she's living in a comic book (which is totally wrong of course, she's living in a role playing game). One part of her power is that her abilities can change according to what "artist" is drawing her at the time. This will probably be a multipower of different ability sets with NCC on when they change. But I need some ideas on what powers different art styles might give based on current and past famous comic artists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... From a post Apocalypse Hero game called: After the Burn. One PC, Bill Waits, was a broken shell of man left essentially emotionally dead after losing his family in the fall. Over the course of the game, he fell in love with another PC, Dylan Carter, a younger woman with an optimistic outlook and surprisingly sheltered background considering her hippie/granola girl up bringing. In any case, Dylan had started showing some of the early signs of pregnancy and mistook them for….radiation poisoning and thinking she's clearly going to die goes to Bill to say her farewells. Bill: Calm down, baby, just tell me what's wrong? Dylan (tearfully): Well…I feel so tired all the time and and… every morning I wake up feeling awful… throwing up and stuff. And well I haven't had a… ya know, for awhile. THAT time…. Bill: *pauses then grins* So… you're sick every morning.. huh. You might say you have a kind of Morning Sickness? Dylan: *nods sadly then realization strikes. Not as intended* Oh No! It must have been those chocolate bars I found. They were radioactive! I should warn Cierra and Joanna (to other PCs)! They had some too! Bills *sighs* Yes, you should definitely talk to other women about this. Now.
