Technically we cant have flying characters without resistance to cold as I heard somewhere that thecompartment where the landing wheels are gets to -65 in flight. They mentioned on some documentary type thing as a Cuban escaped by hiding in the wheel compartment of a plane. Sometimes we just have to go cartoon physics.

And a Solomon Grundy clone could always work in this setting.

Plenty of ghosts that could provide allies/enemies for this duo. Provided communication is possible. Maybe have a psychic ally who can communicate with ghost. Maybe a distant descendant of Jean Lafitte(sp?) could be a villain. Maybe a Native American spirit tired of the city's corruption comes back for his people's vengeance (could be ally or enemy). It dont get no freakier than New Orleans.

Seem to me it would depend on the ghost. Like what is the relationship with the PCs (benevelent, malevolent, or neutral). It could even be a defense system of sorts if he doesnt like a group of bad guys that invades. The "invaders" may even have a member who he didnt like during his life. Course depending on how long ago he lived of course.

I did some reaseach a couple of years ago on countries out of curiosity. China has 1.2 billion population while Taiwan was something like 20 million. They also have other info other than poulation like type of government, countries leader, a brief history etc.

I have to agree with starblaze here. That character is shall we say unique.

My character isnt exactly intimadated easily and second he has limited life force sense powers, so he would have known the guy was a weakling. Probably would have just humiliated him greatly and go on. But if he didnt know he probably have been the one to do the killing. He wouldnt be too apologetic either. "The fool should have seen something like this coming". Just a matter of time. Though the Intimidator would get an honorably mention in the Darwin Awards.

I ask what those aliens were like because. Did they have any type of superpowers or were they all just extremely advanced in tech. Just to help me get a little background. A second alien race could make for a type of Kree-Skrull war thing. And this would actually make for a similar type of thing like the Seven Years-French& Indian War. Where you fight in space (this versions Europe) along with Earth (this versions America with help from the natives).

You mentioned that Tibet had been recently liberated. Some of the citizens could still have motives for revenge after years of oppression. Isnt this where the Shaolin fighting monks are supposed to come from? Could put in a few of these for Taiwan. Maybe an alien or two you mentioned who still want to make life difficult for the Chinese helping Taiwan. What were those aliens like? Could also see another alien race except these are enemies of the ifrst alien race helping China just for spite.

My character's background is that of a criminal of sorts. Mostly giving some of the other good guys (all NPC) a few beat downs. Basically the whole finding a worthy opponent thing caused a bit of (ok a lot) property damage in the process. So basically as a character trying to go straight himself he would understand (actually it started out as hook-up to fight a common enemy, he basically stayed and "softened" over time) But dont think he is trusting though. He would keep an eye on him during a "trial" period. Probably aint gonna sweat over the missing money, and he would understand the reluctance of being "caged like a zoo specimen". He would help "fake" the villains death (he did the same for himself) as he has realized the cost of being formerly a villain. My character really doesnt have a secret identity per se. He pretty much stays in the nearby forest (gotta a whole cave network with modern conveniences out there) and comes when needed. Dont know about letting him live there though as he doesnt trust this particular character yet.

Yeah I think it would be best for a China attack Taiwan than vice-versa. Probably a few rogue American superheroes that were remnants of the Cold War helping Taiwan would add in the mix.

Justice League unless Rogue gets ahold of Superman. Though thinking about it the Martian would be a perfect fit in the X-Men crew.

Oh and thanks for getting that whole Aqua-Barbie song in my head. Speaking of horror. You realize if I cant get out of my head in the next 2 hours I will become insane. OK, actually even more so than now after all how do you think I started to become insane in the 1st place.

That is one of those scenarios that is so twisted it would send my character over the deep end. If that happens expect the creepy girl and her parents to die. Being turned into a doll has to be some kind of punishment in hell. But assuming my character maintains his sanity he would try to find a way to reverse the process (probably by asking the kid) if not, that is it the kid is going down. If so that kid will be watched and anything out of the ordinary in the future will probably end her days of freedom for good. Right or wrong.

I'd have to play the part. Cant think of any actors badgerish enough. Steve Buscemi maybe. He is the only actor ugly enough I guess.. One of those pretty boys would definitely screw up the grittiness to my character.

As far as the opinion of some being "not superhuman other than usual tv-ness" or whatever. I do have to point out that characters like Batman and the Punisher are not really supers but we bunch into the category a lot. Just my 2 cents on the subject. Though why did you have to mention Touched By An Angel. i had to suffer for years. It was one of my mother's favorites. The horror....the horror:D

It could work. I've always thought that Teen superheros would be better off with a couple oldies in the mix as mentors if nothing else. I sure know I and most others I know were ridiculously impulsive in my teens.

1150 doesnt seem right. If I remember another thread a few weeks ago that planet pushing Superman from the 70s cartoon would only need 400 STR. Doesnt seem right to need 3 times the strength to throw a guy into orbit than it would to push a planet.

I didnt watch the Buffy TV show much but wasnt Eliza Dushku the one that played Faith? I'd definitely would like to see a write-up on those critters from the Herculoids. And for my suggestion what about the show Dark Angel would that character qualify as superhuman would seem to me.

One member in my group is a gadgeteer (think Tenchi Muyo's Washuu meets MacGyver;) ) he would build a device to scan the object/build a spaceship to fight it if possible. While the less technological of us may take a trip to the atoll to slow their rebuilding process (possibly a bit for spite). Alternately we might just hijack their ship if they have fixed it to fight the menace from space.

Would never be in that situation would never be dumb enough to go to store day after Christmas. But if in situation I see probably suggesting he take her to the authorities. Maybe offer him a job in the group. ANd if all else fails kick some metallic (edited).

If I remember those duckbills of theres are used supposedly to "feel" the electric current of their food moving in the water. You could make that some kind of life force sensing right their. Cnat think of other abilities right off hand. In my opinion you probably should have an aborigne in the group because after all they are a part of Australia. But just not one of the native mystic cliche. Just too stereotypical.
