Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard of a real swirly either.  Granted, if someone had done that to me in school, I'd probably would have knifed them the next day for it, back then.  (given my school state of mind)
 
Worst thing I got was pants-ed one time in gym class (luckily not around girls, though that did ironically happen later to the one who did it to me-not by me)
 
Edit: There was also, the group of 3 guys who for some reason (must have watched too many Japanese game shows) would always be sneaking up on each other and hitting each other in the groin.  I don't know if they ever had kids, but I kind of hope they did enough damage to each other to avoid that (for the potential spawn's sake)

Yeah that too.  Though, I firmly believe they tend to look at the Palestinian side under rose tints*.  But, that conflict is too much of a headache to unravel in one night (or decade)
 
*and before anyone starts, I am aware about my pro-Israeli bias. And I never say the Palestinians don't have some points (at least on the settlements)

Saturday night/Sunday morning, had an appropriate Halloween one.
 
There was a couple with a young daughter who had a blond doll in a pink dress.  The maternal grandfather was a mean abusive drunk, and slashed his own throat for some reason when he took a camping trip.  The couple was understandably not broken up over it.
 
MOnths later, the father gave the doll to someone else after getting suscpicious something was wrong with it.
 
Then a year later, it came back in the mail...….
 
…..and attacked the father saying (in grandpa's voice) he would pay for trying to get rid of him.

I don't buy that theory anymore.   In 2016, I couldn't bring myself to vote for either Clinton or Trump (I did vote for every other election which is why I didn't count above).  It just wasn't the usual vote for the lesser evil, they both utterly disgusted me. (did briefly consider to vote for the Constitutional Party candidate-but decided against since I don't really know anything at all about them)

What I hate is Game 163, especially since it meant nothing on who made the playoffs, just positioning.  Should go HtH to decide division, and the 2 losers play the WC.  Between Game 163, the WC, and now going into extra innings, the winner will already have a thoroughly shredded pitching staff.
