Christougher got a reaction from Pariah in Funny Pics II: The Revenge
On another forum USAians was typed, but I'm not sure how it could be pronounced. Spanish has the word Estadiounidense, but it is both difficult to say and hear.

I'm not impressed by looks, All I'm saying is that what I saw of its performance was not reassuring. But it's not worth arguing over.

LEGO is a wonderful source of everything.
As for my toys: Four images of Jada Toys' Nano Metalfigs. Diecast solid metal figs from multiple lines: GI Joe, TMNT, DC, Marvel (pictured), Minecraft, Harry Potter, Walking Dead, WWE, Nightmare Before Christmas, Transformers, and possibly others I don't recall. About 5 CM high & wide, slightly too large to use as minis. But it doesn't stop me from trying, and there's a aftermarket of cusomized figs.
And in the US, they retail for about $1 a fig, though they're sold in 18 or 20 packs now.

Christougher reacted to Christopher R Taylor in Would like advice on doing a "Consecrate" spell in 5th Edition
It is, I think, a point of maturity where you can reach the point where you can stop asking "why?" as a child. Do I need to know how Superman's powers work? Do I need a deconstruction of Indiana Jones' motivations? Do I have to see back into Conan's origins? Do I need to have detailed schematics for how Iron Man's armor functions?
No.
In fact, digging into this stuff cheapens and weakens it, it takes away the wonder, the joy of it all. If you know exactly how magic works... it stops being magical. Figure out enough to handle it well as a writer/gamer/player etc and then, stop. You know just enough and need know no more.
Because if you dig too deeply, you might find another story there to tell, but then the gold mine, you've tapped out the ore. That vein doesn't go any further. You've ruined all the future stories, and most of the past ones, and for what? To show how clever you are?

Christougher reacted to Doc Democracy in The necessity of complications/disadvantages
I think that, when it came out, disadvantages were radical. To build weaknesses into your character was a brand new way to build character into your character along with the abilities and skills they might have. It is not just Champions. I have said before, it was Justice Inc that brought home to me the way it had changed the way my players approached their games. When the player who delivered mad slasher, after mad slasher came to me with Catherine Du Pont, with a huge COM, face skills, a single derringer revolver and a physical disadvantage that their first action in any combat was to freeze and scream was ASTOUNDING!!!
