    Exactly this.

Who cares. Go ahead and prosecute if you've got the evidence. So, back to that whole Russia/emoulments/false-equivalency for Naziism/so many other items they are all starting to blend together for the guy actually in office right now....

Edit: here's a link to the Wikipedia entry for "Trump controversies 2017" currently clocking at 36 pages. I can't even reasonably list them anymore, so just providing a link.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Trump_administration_controversies

By comparison "Obama controversies" with no time limit is 51 pages. Donald Trump is doing work.

Yes, the phrases "science-based" and "evidence-based" are now forbidden, along with other scary words.

I have generally caucused with the Republicans so to speak, but now the only point of congruence is opposition to gun control.  I Intend to always vote against anyone who votes for the current tax overhaul, and lean towards writing in Teddy Roosevelt for everything, If I cannot find an actual candidate for whom I can not stand to hold my nose and vote.   I would never have believed that I would vote for Hillary, but compared to the opposition...    Any day and twice on Sunday.

That is a reason why it should be prosecuted. Not a reason it should be used to distract from the misdeeds of the persona actually in power right now. And that is all that is being done with it.
This technique has a name: Whataboutism. It is literally from a Soviet Playbook.

Either sue already or stop trying to do Defamation.

When the Democrats had a suspected Sexual Predator, they spoke out against him.
When the Republicans had a suspected Sexual Predator with more proof, they still supported him. And almost elected him.
So, sorry if I find hte Democrats once again the better people with less Hypocrisy. It is as if the republicans are working their behind off trying to appear like liars that will screw you and your whole family, if you let your guard down for one second.

Extreme Bias agaisnt Trump is not a mater of Partisanship, but of common sense and decency. Trump lies so often, we actually lost count of all the lies.
Since Trump said it was partisan, we can assume it is utterly fair and unbiased. Because we reached the point where it is SOP to assume the opposite of what Trump says is true.

No Public statement goes out without consensus. In particular as this was about a important mater. Literally someone could ahve gotten sued over it. Claiming "the entire agency is partisan" because one guy made a change that was not corrected by several coworkers (inlcuding the leader that read that Statement to the Senate) is right up there with conspiracy theories.

And why are we even still talking about hillaries Emails, 12 months after she has lost the election?

The graph just echoes the fact that Democratic fundraising is grassroots while Republican donations come from corporations and superPACs. There are few ultra-wealthy sponsors working in government service, and if there were, the GOP would consider it a problem anyway.

Wait, the US does not even have that?
Well of course it does not. It is something sensible from Europe so for Republicans it is "Socialist Madness" like single payer Healthcare.

As for them talking about competition: I think everyone here on this forum is smart enough to see through those lies they use for pushing monopolies. It is the people that still buy that wich are the issues. For me the Democrats will always be the superior party, because they are not to ressitant to learn from literal centuries of European Experience.

The Primaries are there exactly to elect a good person. But Gerrymandering heavily broke that:

Find out if there is a local politican that works to fix it. Support him or her. Maybe you get some decent candidates again.

Except Lybia was a proper NATO Mandate, not some custom American action without International approval. So was the ending of the Mandate. There was never even a ground invasion, only air support:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_military_intervention_in_Libya

And even despite all taht, Trump somehow manages to make it worse:

Trump is a Troll. Distraction is Troll tactic 101. This action was expected.

The Legitimate part is where it all lies.
Claiming Obama got campaign money from ISIS or was not born in Hawai is clear rightwing bullshit.
6 of the 8 Investigations into Bengazhi had no reasons to exist.

A thought I once had in the Bush Jr. days crosses my mind:
The US needs a Republican to start problems (Iraq War, now Israel Conflict)
That a Democrat has to fix.
So you can blame the Democrat for his reallife solutions (Obama made more dronestrikes).
And can vote for a Republican next time.

We have somethign similar in germany:
The conservate Government delayed a rework of the pension and social secutiry systems for 16 years.
So the socialists had to do it. So everyone was pissed as the socialists and the conservatives got elected again after 8 years.

This pattern of convervatives creating problems that the others have to fix so the consveratives get re-elected next time is really getting tiresome.

One of our PCs is a strange mutant (or so she thinks...hehehe...) whose body is nothing but water, code-named Torrent.  Not your typical water-based hero; she can't summon water or blast it or control it, she's just made of it.  Apart from modified Desolidification, her main power is to absorb objects of opportunity into her body, then propel them with tremendous force and accuracy.  Last weekend they happened to be battling inside a restaurant at the Guardians, Inc. company Christmas party, so when the bad guys attacked she absorbed a bunch of random utensils from the table.  Her first attack was to fling a spoon.  Now, she can do some decent damage even with a spoon, but she missed her shot.  So she was about as intimidating as the Blue Raja in Mystery Men.  The bad guys then scoffed at her, of course.

One of her teammates said, "Racists!  You're just biased against Aqua-Americans!"

Republicans absolutely  big gubmint, as long as it's forcing conservative values on people. "State's rights" is conservative dog whistle for allowing red states to ignore civil rights laws and pass laws targeting minorities and women. As soon as a state passes a law conservatives don't like they want to roll out the federal government steamroller.
