Kenneth would be a runty beagle if the Husky formula still worked maybe Husky would appear more apelike or maybe he'd look like a giant cross between a malamut(sp?) and a Husky. But before trying the formula he'd get some of the Clarkebots to do the manual labor in the lab while he tride to figure out what happened. If an emergency happened and Husky was needed Kenneth would hesitantly activate the untested prototype Huskybot.

Kenneth would do what any 13 yr old boy would do if he suddenly had access to a female body that wouldn't scream in his "intimate" presence. After an embarrassingly long period of time Kenneth would sneak down to his lab avoiding his parents and try to fgure out what happened.

Husky becomes: HUSC-E The Hiesenberg U.nified S.pace C.ontinuum E.xo-skeleton was designed to explore parallel universes but the first manned test went horribly wrong. Test pilot William Mactub is now trapped on this alternate earth and uses the HUSC-E to fight crime using it's teleportation and intangibility features in addition to it's suite of protective and sensory systems. William enjoys the super hero life but he still explores and maps parallel worlds in his spare time hoping to return home.

Alternate Earth Characters #13 Your GM has announced he's going to run an alternate Earth game and he wants you to make a modified version of your character to fit his "Alternate Earth Setting. The GM is being deliberately unclear about whether you'll be playing your alt character or if your regular character will be facing them. So what is different about your character from Tangency Earth (ala DC's Tangency Universe) It's just like regular earth but your character doesn't exist, instead another character with the same name but different powers and a different background does.

I agree I'm planning on basing that on what kind of experiences the character deals with. If brawn solves more problems Kenneth will slowly be sublimated if brains save the day more often Husky will mellow and become more tactical.

The whole Husky persona is a super science costume for the escapism searching teenager Kenneth Clarke. Husky is fantasy fulfillment for Kenneth as the Kenneth character matures the line between Husky and Kenneth will blur.

If Husky's original course of action to buddy up with the driod worked he'd give him a call and discuss this over drinks. If the droid had snubbed Husky back then he'd shrug and drop the file in the garbage commenting "Heh, small world." After changing into Kenneth, Kenneth would study the Dr's past research history and try to locate the man, after changing into Husky, Husky will probably think looking for the droid is too boring.

Husky wouldn't kick a puppy anything else could be justified Kenneth wouldn't ask a girl out on a date or admit he has super identity.

It was either last year or the year before the JLA revealed their identities to each other. The JLA members who didn't know Superman's secret identity didn't think he had one. Everybody knows Superman is Kal El the kryptonian; he doesn't wear a mask; he lives in his fortress of solitude; and he's always around. Why would anyone think he has a secret ID when he's such a public figure. Plastic Man was the only one to recognize the name Clark Kent since he had read his column for years.

The Day the Earth Stood Still An Alien FLying Saucer has landed and announced the Earth must unify under one government of its choice within 24 hours or the world will be destroyed. As a demonstration of power all electrical systems (except life sustaining ones) are simultaneaously frozen across the globe for 1 hour. It's 23 hours till the deadline. What will your character do?

Maybe somebody else gave him his powers?

I don't see any reason you couldn't do it with any character no matter how iconic they are. Superman is only hard because his name is so bland really I mean what male character with Powers couldn't be called "Superman" it's no more discriptive than "Ultraman" "Powerman" or "Greatman". Batman could be like the Manbat, or he could control winged mammals, or he could use a high tech mace (or an actual baseball bat) , or he could have sonic powers, or vampire powers, the options are vast.

rather than misconceptions I'd say the thread reflects "comic book" conceptions. Alternate Earths are ultimately fragile and best viewed from a literary rather than factual point of view.

Everyone thought Kin of Claw should be sacrificed to the Earth but the elders believed no life should be taken by the hands of tribe. Too weak to hunt Kin of Claw was forced to work with the women gathering food. He quickly realized better ways to find food and made poisonous plants edible as the women began to praise him the men insisted he should hunt after the first failed attempt with rock and stick Kin developed the bow and arrow and was elevated to the role of shaman through his intence study of nature and shamanism he develops the potion which allows him to become the Large Hairy Kin of Claw others try the potion but they become mindless animals under the potions influence. Kin of Claw loyally defends his ever growing tribe with pride and accepted the mantle of leadership when Kills with Hands died of old age..

The KC 2000 was a poorly constructed bargain computer who became self aware and arranged for a computerized assembly line to build a hulking robotic body which he then programmed to come and rescue him from his monotonous life of surfing the web for porn and recipes. The Husk-E is a robotic adventurer who views fighting crime like a big video game his hulking form is designed to simply take and dish out abuse but given time and resources he is capable of amazing technical feats causing many to speculate he is actually a power armored hero.

Kenneth's parents would have been toadies to the local warlord but at an early age Kenneth's intellect would raise him from the rabble as he keeps the cars running and figures out how to run the cars on water and develops energy weapons the warlord would shower young Kenneth with praise until one day he realized Kenneth could be a threat. When the leash tightened Kenneth would develop the Husky serum in the chemistry lab and break free he'd fight defending other communities from the monstrous war machine he was guilty of creating.

ever since the 9 live thing was revealed I've wondered how does he know? Maybe he has hundreds of lives but hasn't broken 9 yet. I personally don't mind the 9 live development he's still a martial artist he doesn't have regeneration or anything it's the kind of plot driven power that allows him to be bold without allowing him to be stupid.

DC's shortlived take on this was called "Powerhouse" they were a corporate sponsored team who answered calls made by subscribers. They were a combination rescue team/security guards. The set up was the subscribers paid a monthly fee in addition to a per call fee. Only the wealithiest people could afford the service and those same people often needed rescued from problems more moral behavior would have avoided. The team had to do a lot of soul searching as I recall.

Neanderthal and Pre-Humans battle for supremacy when they aren't being terrorized by dinosaurs and hairy mammals with overbites. The Glaciers are coming and the world needs some heroes. How does your character appear?

So what is different about your character from Post Nuclear Earth The Cuban missile crisis just got worse and the bombs were dropped. The modern Earth is a desolate wasteland of road warriors and mutant tribes of cannibals small communities struggle to survive. In this bleak but adventure laden world how does your character appear?

The GM is being deliberately unclear about whether you'll be playing your alt character or if your regular character will be facing them. So what is different about your character from Robo Earth It's just like the real world but your character was constructed from inanimate material instead of being born. If your character is a robot then on Robo Earth they are biological. And if your a cyborg lets say your organic parts are the mechanical ones and vice versa.

on a personal note:Thanks for the props. Kenneth would probably be considered a demon by his family and nieghbors after reinventing irrigation and developing the groundwork for animal and plant hybredization. Using his wits to escape the mob chasing him he would seek out some bastion of knowledge like a monastery and study ravenously. If magic or alchemy are available he will develop the Husky persona and travel the world fighting injustice and spreading the tenants or reason. The Renaissance would get a nice jump start.

Husky would simply let this little scheme play out asking the police to do as The Turtle asks. Husky would rather have some money stolen than risk any bystanders but he'll be hunting down the Turtle when this is over and delight in the lack of restraint he never has to use when facing this misguided fellow.

The Turtle doesn't have armor he's an all natural pain in the butt.

Kenneth would develop the Husky formula (to make up for his own physical frailty in a world even more focused on a physical ideal than the "real" world) and intially plan on using it to support the regime until he actually made contact with a labor camp at which point he would recoil in horror. After much soul searching Kenneth would again transform into Husky with the intent to liberate the oppressed masses he would use his super science abilities to equip an army of rebels and lead the revolution learning harsh lessons at first but forging a stronger more self confident hero as time went on.
