    Foxbat and...

Re: Foxbat and... Duh, just thought of one I'm actually using now. Foxbatboy and Foxbatgirl (both are 150pt characters from Champions Battlegrounds). Surprisingly, these three are in Turn 2 of a fight with two 360+ heroes. Of course, part of that may be that the heroes just keep trying to disarm over and over, but still....

Re: Foxbat and... Masquerade. That's another twist. This time, Masquerade appears like Foxbat instead of Foxbat copying someone else. It might be strange for the players when one Foxbat is speed 5, the other speed 4, but the Speed 4 just might be the better combatant. Well, maybe. Perhaps Masquerade thinks Foxbat is enlightened and is copying his image. Of course, what happens when one Foxbat says to a hero, "Hey, buddy, I've got a fan club follower. How about you?" and then the other Foxbat throws some sharp object (RKA) at the hero?

Re: Foxbat and... Captain Chronos. That will throw your players for a loop. Who needs reasoning?
  7. Re: from little plot seeds, mighty games do grow: Share your ideas! Foxbat's MASTER PLAN, revealed! After years of careful research. After countless hours planning raids and conducting death-defying mid-air stunts. After sweating profusely combating never-do-wells and being interfered with by those lunatic do-gooders, Foxbat has finally been able to complete his MASTER PLAN! The Foxbat Museum of Super Memorabilia opens to the public Monday 8 am. Yes, all of Foxbat's doings, crimes, ponderings, flying (well, gliding), and repetitive beatings have all been for one purpose: to open a museum containing pieces of super history. Scarlet Archer's boots. Sapphire's Brazilian bikinis. Bulldozer's belt. Dr. Horrible's Freeze Ray. Defender's Jet Boots. Dr. Silverback's lab kit. Foxbat's own Weapon of Mass Destruction (lose weight overnight!). These and much, much more are all in his museum, which greets you with a "giant, life-sized" statue of Foxbat himself. Small problems may arise when Dr. Destroyer comes for his helmet that was found after Detroit's destruction, as well as VIPER coming for the Nest Leaders for Dummies instruction manual. Or when the power goes out and the tiny monsters Foxbat "happened upon" revert to full size of 100'.
  8. Re: Is a Jedi reasonable in a Marvel Avengers campaign? I think the basics of the answer are these: You're the GM. If you and the players will have fun, then it is reasonable. Considering you have other genres in your Avengers campaign, then the precedence is already set to be accepted. I say go for it (if you already haven't).

  10. Re: What's your favorite Champions supplement? I agree that 4th Ed Viper is better. I have a hybrid of the two. Generally 5ed Agents & # in a team, but 4th Ed supers, as well as some vehicles. I use the 4th Ed "armored" troops as a facade for the real, 5th Ed DEMON. The PCs currently know the truth (mostly), but they've only had one prolonged adventure with DEMON (whom I'm thinking of just calling Demon because I hate typing DEMON).

  12. Re: What's the most useless supplement you'd actually like to see? I saw an example of that in Necessary Roughness.
  13. Re: So many possibilties I thought that was Juke box hero? (Or is that not old enough?)
  14. Re: What's the most useless supplement you'd actually like to see? An RPG for geologists? Sweet! (It just takes so long to play it....)
  15. Re: from little plot seeds, mighty games do grow: Share your ideas! Institute for Human Advancement - The 5th Ed version of Genocide. It's a "cover" company, so to speak.
  16. Re: from little plot seeds, mighty games do grow: Share your ideas! Book of the Dead?

  18. Re: from little plot seeds, mighty games do grow: Share your ideas! Nice.
  19. Re: Questions concerning Massacre (HD) So, do you not know why you gave him two teleport powers or are you hoping/assuming this will create interest for you and your character?
  20. Actual quotes from this week! From my Star Wars MMORPG: Commando: "I was doing a little comparison slaughtering last night...." From HeroCentral game: (Juggernaut is a well-endowed female super having lunch with Foxbat in an Elvis disguise. Foxbat has information on where a deadly group of super villains are...) Foxbat: "I think I know where you can find the Choir's meeting place. One of them stepped on me during the break out... err. I mean, I overheard one talking to another about it. BUT... in exchange, I have a demand." He crosses his arms, "And I won't tell you unless I get it." Juggernaut: "OK, I'm intrigued, just what is this 'demand' that you have?" Foxbat: "I want you to get on Youtube, and announce that I am 'teh Hawtness', that I'm WAY sexier than Defender, Speedzone, or that Bravo guy from the Sentinels," Foxbat seems delighted by the thought, "Please, it's all part of my Master Plan." Another pause, "I suppose having you announce it in a bikini while jumping rope would be pushing it?" Gotta love Foxbat when played well.
  21. Quote of the Week, not ancient D&D philosopy Could we please get back to the actual topic of the thread? This derailing/hijacking of the thread is annoying. Please consider starting your own thread if you wish to continue.
  22. Re: Completely Undetectable Heh, thanks.
  23. Back to the actual topic of this thread It's not much, but at least it's relevant. Teen Champions: My PC has just met a new neighborhood girl who looks good in jeans. He goes to tell his older sister (who's also his guardian). Sister: "I'm glad you two hit it off. Sounds like a nice girl." .oO(Have I given little bro 'the talk' yet? Oh boy, that'll be weird.)
  24. Re: A character in search of a name Splash Tidal Wave Tsunami Whirlpool Or, for a vague reference, you can make him into a her and give her the name Madison (which didn't become a popular name until that dang movie Splash came out).
  25. Re: Completely Undetectable Not to mention hypnosis is merely a strong suggestive state; people won't do something under hypnosis that they'd truly abhor. Having stated that, it is genre for hypnosis to work like mind control, similar to how comics and other entertainment tend to think of photographic memory meaning the person is much smarter than others when people with photographic memory tend to have a harder time learning because they rely upon their 'images' as opposed to deduction and creative thinking.
