  2. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares I'd pay good money to see this.
  3. The rest of the site is pretty cool as well, but the keenest thing on it was the Random Pulp Science Fiction Title Generator from Cornelius Zappencackler's DERANGE-O-LAB: http://thrilling-tales.webomator.com/derange-o-lab/title-o-tron.shtml. Given how much Pulp Adventure relies of standard tropes and cliches, having a good title is darn near having a plot.
  4. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Drip the Dark Elf doesn't exist in my world-view.

  6. Re: Batman meets Doc Savage Well, it was OK. I wouldn't call it great, but it's mostly the portrayal of the Spirit that's bugging me.
  7. Re: Star Mapping software: You call THIS progress? Are you familiar with this project? http://www.solstation.com/ I'm not sure how far along they are, but what they've been doing is recreating chview in Java, so it should run just fine on your new PC.

  10. This has to be of use in some pulp game somewhere... http://www.la-tour-eiffel.org/teiffel/uk/documentation/structure/page/planches.html

  13. Re: Ultimate Pulp Cover It's a gorrilla fighting nazis and cats with jetpacks. Who cares how he got there?
  14. A nifty little article. http://www.newscientist.com/special/drowned-cities-myths-secrets-of-the-deep

  16. Re: 7 Sci-Fi Series Ripe for Movie Reboots Buck Rogers reboot? Nope. What I want is an actual movie or TV adaptation of the Buck Rogers comic strip (Gil Gerard was not Buck).
  17. Re: What's Up With These Protestors? (2 parts) A. They're obviously protesting the fact that our heroes have not flown across the Atlantic and "taken care of" der Fuhrer. B. (I'm the GM so I don't have a character, so...) I'm sure at least of the heroes would calmly explain the crowd that Roosevelt has specifically tasked them with protecting the homefront, but they're sure that our boys in Europe will give those ratzis the thumping they deserve.
  18. Re: And 6e print books start to arrive As anticipated, mine (along with the APG which had been ordered separately) was sitting at home waiting for me when I arrived. Pity I spent all night doing homework (and let me tell you, to be ding homework at my age is a crime all by itself). Should provide hours of reading this weekend.
  19. Re: And 6e print books start to arrive Current status is "OUT FOR DELIVERY" in the city I live in. Should be waiting for me when I get home. Yay!
  20. Re: Followed by a Cloud of Radioactive Wasps Force Wall, Ablative Armor, Ablative Clairesentience? (Standard senses, enhanced, are still stopped by obstacles. Clairesentience amounts to "put the origin point of my senses someplace else" which seems more like what a scouting party would do). Mind Scan?
  21. Re: And 6e print books start to arrive Mine have gotten as far as Jackson, MS so far. Should be soon now.
