    Armor Wars

Re: Armor Wars I've been trying to decide between Multiform and VPP Gadget Pool for that sort of thing. I guess since I have Hero Designer I could just run up the build both ways, but that's like, effort and stuff.
  3. Re: 10 US Military Aircraft That Never Quite Made It The XC-120 Packplane may have been an also-ran, but the Army's CH-54 helicopter had a good 30 year run. Our helicopter unit in the Nevada Army National Guard was one of the last units to still be using them in the early 90s. They're still in use by civilians. Fun fact: The "jet-powered" lawnmower from Tool Time was powered by an auxiliary power unit from a CH-54.

  5. Re: Hypothetically and unofficially, what would you like to see in a Mecha Hero book? Giant Robotic Happy Ending?
  6. Re: Total NEWB question - Throwing Badger You can see that flash animation in it's natural habitat at http://www.badgerbadgerbadger.com. My bank alt guild in World of Warcraft is named , and the guild tabard has a mushroom on it.

  8. Re: Those Meddling Kids... I don't have a group in mind for this, just noodling ideas. Maybe a one-off convention game. You also you need to have the correct characters. The Leader, The Goofball, The Brainy One, The Cute One, The Prima Donna, The Bad Boy, etc.
  9. Re: Soul Calibur HERO? Physical Complication: Top heavy. Hey, Macho Women With Guns used that one, we can too!
  10. What do you guys think of a campaign type based on the Hanna Barbara cartoons of the 70s? Scooby Doo, Jabberjaws, Josie and the Pussycats (J&tP in Outer Space). I'm sure there are a couple more I'm forgetting too. Important tropes: 4-5 Teenagers Animal Mascot The Van (submarine, spaceship, etc) Hijinks A heroic level campaign, probably just normals and buying equipment for money. You would probably want to stretch each episode over a couple of sessions.
  11. Re: Justice League of America 350 So, this is 5th edition? I'll admit I haven't followed the comic closely in a while, but aren't these all pretty much just different versions of the same person? I wouldn't really count her/them as DNPCs anyway since he teams up with them much more than he has to bail her out of trouble. Looks pretty good though, just a few quibbles.
  12. Re: Humor: Duct Tape Charater Don't you read Nodwick? Their Cleric is always duct-taping various parts of his anatomy back on.
  13. Re: Captain Crustacean When does he team up with Sewer Urchin from The Tick? "No alligators down here, the lobsters ate 'em. Here, have some lemon juice."
  14. Re: Wand of wonder like power Get either Champions Powers for 6ed, or UNTIL super powers database for 5ed, and pick out a whole bunch of 60 active point powers. Or make up a whole bunch of them yourself.
  15. Re: Steampunk - Source Material What? No mention of Disney's Atlantis?
  16. Re: Soul Calibur HERO? They just released Hero System Martial Arts for 6th edition. Or if you're still using 5th, Ultimate Martial Artist/Ninja Hero cover that.

    Ultra-Car!

Re: Ultra-Car! I did consider tunneling, but this is meant to be just a taxi to take you from one adventure scene to another. Hence the lack of guns and such-like. Most games rarely have underground scenes, and those that do, generally the transportation is part of the scenario. Here is the AI that can also operate the vehicle, it is one of a pair of twin AIs. One in the vehicle, one at the base. It only has Transport Familiarity, not Combat piloting/driving to encourage the PCs to drive it themselves. 22. Re: Bolt, the super dog I attached them to the posts. Aren't they showing up? And I put it as an EC because they have the same origin of Penny's Dad super-zapping him or whatever, and so they would all be reduced by his susceptible to styrofoam disad.
  23. Re: Hero System Good Idea/Bad Idea... "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy unite!" The Tick cartoon also had an episode with a group of Golden Age heroes in a retirement home.
