  1. Re: If You Draw It...They Will Come No joke? I'd be curious to see that. Kinda reminds me of the Doctor Strange look, could be cool.
  2. Re: Masked Vigilantes In Trial I've pondered over the incorporation idea because it plays a big role in the campaign I am trying to get on the ground. I have the city's main hero, a power armor type, as a division of an existing corporation so the issue isn't that difficult there but it still begs the question: If the heros are going to incorporate, can't people just take a look at the paperwork filed during the incorporation process to track down the secret ID more easily?
  3. Re: If You Draw It...They Will Come While I applaud the removal of the collar, it now somehow seems nekkid. Maybe a cowl/cape thing?
  4. Re: Masked Vigilantes In Trial The way that superheros are treated and their effect on society are the points that drew me to this system in the first place. I love the idea of 'paranormal insurance', guilds and unions and legislation that specifically deals with superheros. I think those sort of 'details' are a must for any non golden or silver aged game. In a silver or Golden aged game, those issues would be forming. Could actually be an excuse for me to play in one of those ages!
  5. Re: If You Draw It...They Will Come Sorry I 'm not full of ideas for your peeps. I just like em the waythey are. Did your GM give the player an XP penalty for taking the high collar?
  6. Re: Team of second rate Villains
  7. Re: If You Draw It...They Will Come All is personal preference I know, but I just can't take a guy seriously who has the big frilly collar stuff on his costume. Sorry about the rep, there's just something about specifically requesting rep that disinclines me to give such. My advice is to take rep like everyone else: as it comes for things you do on the boards regardless of whether or not the rep function were present. You do good artwork!
  8. Re: Superhero Images Great picture. I like the cape especially. The cowl with boots and gloves is super cool. Only negative is the open mouth on the mask. Nice colors, nice lines, good overall.
  9. Re: UNITY 2010: A New Champions Campaign Ahhh, a Mr. Mysterious who doesn't trip the sensors. Nice little scene there. I loved the analogy. How did Straight Arrow's player take the 'doesn't trip your sensors' trick?
  10. Re: Superhero Images Teenage Mutant Ninja...Polar Bears? Great image. Nice coloring. Is it even a polar bear? I'm reading the name as braunt, how does it relate to the character?
  11. Re: New Book: Superheroes and Philosophy No worries, I'll rep him for you.
  12. Re: UNITY 2010: A New Champions Campaign *sniffle* I miss my update.
  13. Re: The Team Well that certainly does put a perspective on it. Perhaps the most telling is the line which states: "These have always been my favorite "classes" of superhero to play." Play what you like!
  14. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. ROFLMBO!!!!! Rep for you sir!
  15. Re: What's the most outrageous plot your PCs have ever been subjected to Rep for you, sir!
  16. Re: UNITY 2010: A New Champions Campaign LOL! That line makes me jealous of the role-players in your group.
  17. Re: UNITY 2010: A New Champions Campaign Great change of pace, Bill. I like how its not international incident after international incident (at least at the outset of the session...) What were the peoples' reactions to some of the team coming in uniform and one in costume?
  18. Re: Something we should all look into.. Whoah, that looks like something out of anime zombie horror! Freaky, yet well done. Some one mentioned other possible representations of a lizard-man character?
  19. Re: Help with a character Sonic Boom (area affect explosion) Could be the same as your hearing flash Sonic Flight enhanced hearing
  20. Re: Building Power Armor Oh, no offense was taken. I know I'm new and still pretty unfamiliar with this system. Your 'critique' was very valid and I appreciate the perspective on the system that it gave. Good points all around.
  21. Re: Building Power Armor Sorry, I'm still a newb! Your suggestions do make a ton of sense. We'll combine the two and take half credit.
  22. Re: Building Power Armor There is also the cheap way out. Instead of having this character buy loads and loads of skills you can just simplify it to a few. An easy out would be PS: Power Armorer or PS: Power Armor construction. If thats too easy you can double the cost of skill levels for that skill only. If the character already has the tinker and related skills I say just let him roleplay the whole thing. Why complicate matters? Like someone said before, they let Defender build his own armor. Don't get caught up in the detials.
  23. Re: Building Power Armor I'm not ashamed at all. I liked C:NM. I like it enough to use it as the basis for my campaign world. According to the team defender write up in that book, the jock they got to operate the suit is no dummy. He's simply not as nerdtatstic as the rest of the team.
  24. Re: Something we should all look into.. I'm looking for visual aides for a character I recently created. Can you do lizardmen? I have what I describe as an 8' tall over 400 pound tailed lizardman brick hero. He has a long tail but it's not prehensile, only usable for balance, swimming and beating. The head will be the hard part, I'm thinking. The snout isn't the long croc/gator mouth its more reserved but still elongated. I'm thinking its all perched on a squat, thick neck. You kow, all brick-like. The only other detail I think I'm keen on is his chest, abdomen, torso area. I'm thinking it should have a different look and texture than the scales on his back, much like the underside of most reptiles that ocurr naturally. Sound like something you can do, please?
