Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Atlas was once a superhero. But that was before the day which would change the world. The day of the events in Detrot...no...it is still to painful to talk about, even now for Atlas. After thoes events, he advised UNTIL to start a group of heros which would be proactive aganst supervillians. But thoes short sighted fools. No...thay refused. Now, the only way to make shure something like the Detroit Tragity to happen again is to take over the world and eliminate all superbeings who will not join with him.

Re: Hero System Charater Creation Cheet Sheet...Would You Like One? It's not a true Resource Kit, it is a Charater Creation "Cheet Sheet". For one, it will be realy thick, compared to the booklet, when printed out. And it will only contain info for charater creation.

I'm curently, as a project for myself, compising notes with my copy of 6E1, BR (Basic Rulesbook), HSMA (Hero System Martial Arts), and both APGs into a form of 'cheet sheet' for myself. Once fully compiled, I want to use Microsoft Word to bring them together into a format for semi-publication. (If you want to know, the insperation was the old Hero System Resorse Kit booklet). The question is, would anyone want to see it when I am done with doing the first compilation? I know I'll never truly be done with it (I have to eventuly add page numbers for books like Star Hero and Champions into it when posable). But it might be helpful to more than just myself.

Re: Upgrades for Timelapse Thanks for the 'almost rep'. I understand, as I have been there also (needing to spreed rep before I can thank someone for an ideal). Now that I know what Timelapse's stick is (ageing things), I can give you a more detailed thought on how to make him more than a one trick pony (with his strong NND Does Body attack). 1) Welcome To Senorhood: This is a stright Transformation attack, NND (Imortality, time powers) which basicly applies the senor template as the base to the charater. Make shure you rewrite all affectable charaters using the Senor Citizen as a base line (to save time). Note: How that effects powers is up to the GM. I sergest not a reduction in them, but prehaps adding the Concentration ( half DCV) in Inacurate (half OCV) to all powers based on skill (thay are funconly out of practus once aged), and do not reduce INT and EGO at all (unless a charater is prone to Alshimers (sp?) or some other memory rotting condition of getting older). 2) It is safe to asume that he can turn back the hands of time on all objects he aged the $hit out of. This would be a Transformation (Dust to Object), Focus (dust pile), Limited Power (can only use piles of dust which he used his main attack on), as sergestions. Note: A person killed by his age to dust attack can not be returned to life, but he can be returned to a well perserved corpse. Objects agged to dust return to the condition thay are before being agged. 3) If he can turn piles of dust back into objects, he can also deage objects or people. That would also be Transformation, using on people the Small Child as a template. 4) If he can age/deage others, why can't he do it to himself? That would be a Shapeshift (into older looking/younger looking self).

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Gator is a human mutant who's alagator style mutations were active at birth. His parents were to disgusted by him that thay left him in the sewers to die. Gater grew up with a group of homeless outcasts, eating rats and other animals found in the sewers. Eventualy he was found and joined the Nocturnals. As for how he fits into the group? Well, nobody knows the sewers as well as him. And bright lights, like sunlight, hurt his eyes (years of sewer living without seeing the sun can do that, along with extream undianosed astemitisim).

Re: Horror Hero 4ed had a campain book named Horror Hero which while systemly out of date, you should look for. The subject for most of the book was Lovecraftian horror, but it was generic enougth to pull off any type of horror.

Re: Chaos I would start with the 6E1 (for the charater creation rules), then add the 4ed supliment Mystic Masters, then add the 5ed book The Mystic World. Finaly, I'll add the Mystic Enimies book (which, I beleve, has a few writeups of agents of the Kings of Edom in it). Well, there use to be the -2 limitation "Independent", but powers bought with that limitation never return once taken away. I beleve Mystic Masters had a Limited Power limitation called something like "Must Use Power In Service Of Master", with the value set depending on how offen he goes aganst the wishes of his master. The most common limitation with Endonite magic is Side Effect (a slow transformation to an insain monster controled by the Kings of Edon). Thay usaly do not cair how or why the servent uses there power, for the side effect ensures that all uses serves them in the end.

Hear is the chalange. I'm laying down the gauntlit. Can you handel it? Using only the Hero System Basic Rulebook (BR), create a villian charater. You can use both versions of the Advance Players Guide, but nothing new, just options of things which exist in BR, and martial arts from the Hero System Martial Arts. Beyond that, thoes are the only books in this chalange. Can you do it? Do you dair?

Re: Hero system basic book question Haveing one of theas 'damaged' books, I can chime in that the damage is extremly small, and it is well worth the $20+ shiping, handeling, and state tax it takes to get one. Nuff said.
