  1. Thank you. There are some interesting ones from Dark Champions the Animated Series, so I'll post them here once I pass this exam this weekend.
  2. Yes, there are less options that players have for the most part. Newer players tend to find HERO's initiative to be confusing due to the speed chart. The problem with movement is that it's really easy to make a character that moves so fast that he or she can run off the map as a move action. It's much easier to do maps and grid combat in HERO than M&M. There was an optional rule called tactical movement that prevented players from abusing movement, but that tended to cause player bitching. Oh well. I do think M&M is a simpler system and easier for players to learn, but HERO has better combat rules and more interesting flaws/complications.
  3. I disagree, but I do think combat flows faster in M&M- but the movement rules in M&M don't work very well unless you limit them. whitehare.hdc
  4. I disagree. There are quite a number of interesting villains from Dark Champions the Animated Series who are very much like Batman villains. Would you like me to take a stab at White Hare?
  5. I'd say it would depend on the setting and how prevalent & powerful mutants are versus other supers, but yes the standard complication is 10.
  6. That's true, but I think it did heavy financial damage to the company and there were promising talents that got taken down by its financial failure.
  7. That was an underrated movie. It's a shame that it flopped and took a promising animation studio down with it.
  8. Went on an Aussie movie night: Crocodile Dundee 1 Crocodile Dundee 2 Young Einstein
  9. And here are Risk, Tectonic, Vigilant, and The Scarlet Mage. Vigilant.hdc The Scarlet Mage.hdc Risk.hdc Tectonic.hdc
  10. Did you commission him or just get it from his site?
  11. Where did you get the character picture? Just curious- the artist did a great job!
  12. Interesting. Are you familiar with the Monster Hunter International setting?
  13. Interesting. When did you write this story KillerShrike? Is this based off of a campaign?
  14. I take it you're a fan of Cara DeLeveigne?
  15. Mine as well. I hope Disney brings that character back in a show or movie. And it was a shame that the show didn't have the 3rd season that it deserved.
  16. Yup, he was a character from a Hudson City Powers game that a late friend ran in 2014. It was a great campaign, and one that both me and Wraith's player really miss. Here's my old character, a significant alteration of a champions character. Gremlin - Copy.hdc
  17. Here are two: Zero and Wraith. Zero 2.0.hdc Wraith.hdc
  18. Wouldn't darkness to sight group and entangle (blocks sight group) activate the susceptibilities? I would think so given what you have described.
  19. It's doable. I do have a couple of them laying around. I do agree that it's easier to build powers than equipment, but you can just build equipment as powers (just with focus). Let me know if you want to take a look.
  20. The 6th edition artist is Tyler Walpole. The other artists included in the book are: Brett Barkley, Christopher Burdett, Storn Cook, Brendon & Brian Fraim, Melissa Gay, Alexander Gustafson, Hal Hefner, Mark Helwig, Jesse Parrotti, Christian N. St. Pierre, Julien Tainmont-Pierrat, Jason Williford, and Jonathan Wyke.
  21. Both look like good builds, but Aetheria probably could use a couple AoE attacks if she's a solo villain.
  22. How is this for a rebuild? I altered his martial arts so that they were a combination of flight and brick tricks. I increased his PD and ED but lowered his EGO and DMCV, and used it to up his REC and Regeneration. I altered his complications so that he only has 40 points in psychological complications.
