OK. Let's say I have the following attacks: 1d6 HKA 1d6 HKA, Reduced Penetration 1d6+1 HKA, Armor-Piercing Let's say I also have Martial Arts, say the standard Martial Strike. If I do an MPA with my three KAs, can I Martial Strike with all of them, or only one?

He had travelled through time from an ancient, lost-to-paleontology species that had evolved from velociraptors. He also had a magic stone axe. I liked him.

Re: Panspermia, anyone? Maybe this hypothetical stuff floating through space is not life, but some factor that, when it combines with other materials on a world it arrives at, gives rise to life. This would solve the problem of the thing surviving so long in space. Also, it would explain McCoy's point about how we have not been able to replicate life in experiments replicating the Earth's early conditions -- the extraterrestrial X was absent. Also, if we postulate that substance X forms in extraplanetary conditions -- in a nebula, star or whatever -- that would eliminate the problem of how it got off the planet on which it formed in the first place, alleviating part of Kristopher's concerns.

Re: The intersection between Dark Champions and Champions. Isn't he supposed to be the main Martial Artist in the MU? Tastes vary, but I don't see him below DEX 30, SPD 7. You could probably still do him at 350 points though, now that I think of it.

Re: Realism vs cynicism The world's reactions to superhumans Kryptonite is constantly raining from the skies in the DC Universe, or at least it was during the Silver Age. Getting it shouldn't be a problem, I think.

Re: Realism vs cynicism The world's reactions to superhumans I think it would depend on the kind of superhuman. Plastic Man's powers could not kill millions of people. Superman's could. We really lucked out that Supes was rescued by Ma and Pa Kent and so became improbably moral for a godlike being who cannot be injured and thus suffers no negative repercussions from his actions. The thing is, some power sets are incredibly dangerous and so a government would be quite irresponsible not to try to control them. IMO.

Re: Pet Powers I make about a billion times more characters than I actually play, given that I am active in only one PBM campaign right now. However, a lot of them seem to have OIHID and some form of Regeneration. I'm a big fan of a low level of resistent defenses (built tough), plus another level of Hardened defenses (super-fast healing). I'm also a big fan of the "person transforming into an avatar of something" theme. (See OIHID, above.) And Talents! I loves me my Eidetic Memory. EDIT: ah yes, and Distinctive Features: Mystic Aura.
