Well...of the top of my head this just screams regen from death and replaces limbs...I usually look at this as a can't die task,but a returns from death should look at Sum:exact dup of self,total devotion Trigger,just died or duplication trigger and a swap places power this however burns points forever as dups that die do not come back. I've used simulate death and Invisable BODY to do this so you Look like your at -20 body but actually you've still got some left power levels and the GM's gag-factor need to be considered though...
  2. My "fast and dirty" is you recover body (ie Heal) at double your natural rate ...effectivly I'm doubling your REC while under care...

I've been useing the same explanation of limits since the early eightys..."You decide how limiting a limit is ,if you say your powers don't work when canadian geese fly overhead,and you say that is common...then canadian geese will fly overhead commonly...even if you're on an alien planet,a exobiology lab will be nearby because you took it as a limit.I.e.; limits do limit characters,so when I run a game limits mostly fall into the called for by conception catagory,despite this foci are not all that rare but users make sure they can get by without them!...Cons are a differant story...at cons most lims are just free points...
  4. Yeah I called bullet proof spndex "Resistiweave" it was a sure fire way to identify someone with government sanction cause the feds were the only known source...this is cool I've got to start using more weird stuff storys...

When I convert comic book heros into champs I like to change them so I can make them mine...So I turned Cap into japans WW2 national hero: Onimusha with a magical "red buckler" hero used shinto magic instead of a "super serum"...I have a freind who is a rugby fanatic so I plan to convert sunspot from the x-men to be "All black" the NZ national hero...hey stop throwing things!
  6. I've been playing Champs for about a century or so but somehow this has never come up before...how does Drain:End interact with charges? I hit this with an Elecro-power guy who can drain batterys...I know how this works with an End battery,but how about the basic Viper blater with it's 16 charges? Thanx

Glad to hear that this is not "over the top"...sometimes I fear my inner munchkin...yes I can see useing "vanising teleport for stealth or just plain invisable...hmmm...would Side effects be a fun addition? ie: I either crit my roll or crit my failure:)...I'm going to write this up into Fortune's bag of tricks then,though I currently intend to use this as "super brawling" by buying a "bar fighting" skill (9+con/5) for a 6D6 HA to reprisent critical hits in hand to hand....Thanx for the input...

Well the idea is to use the alternate skills as powers section but pay for the powers myself...the idea is if I make a skill roll it is automaticly a "critical" success so the power is limited/based on the skill you use so if I want to use say High society I'd roll and if I make it then maybe Aid:Pres zero end (or succor?) is in order.If I want to do the "God of gamblers" effect I can use X-ray vision and invisable TK to arrange the dice under a cup etc....The 30 point amount is intentional so I don't go overboard with effects...the most extream power twisting I can think of can't do too much harm with a top end of 30! (I hope)...Thanx

In my campains "old folks" still use "Ubers" the use dating back to WW 2 with the Nazi propaganda machine publishing information on some of the first supers...hipsters use meta and most folks use "para" (also dating back to WW 2) and goverments use a greek letter code that covers basic power level and some times type of power...Apokolipse is a Gamma level threat....just some flava...
  11. pinecone howzabout a small Pres drain...eventually you will comply with the "Tap out" pres attack...Drain:Pres 2D6 0 End ,Continues,Req "Grab" Instantly heals with "Escape" buy it penitrating so it can bleed past power def and bob's your uncle....

I'm working yet again on a probability manipulator and I've had a brainstorm...VPP 30 requires a skill roll (any skill) that turns skills into powers...so I need to tap into your collective wisdom...is this legit? how much of a lim is requires a skill roll in this aplication? I'm thinking around -1/4 and would this power give you the willies? I'm thinking Damage reduction or armor for acrobatics or breakfall , empathic mind controll for seduction or oratory maybe even HA for a "Brawling" skill....would invisable tunneling for lockpick be over the top? I'm also considering X ray vision and fully indirect invisable TK for gambling skill etc...Thanx for any insights...
