BUt, what I do find interesting is Mercer responded to it. not even a moment of "We have to die so a future may live" thinking And as a Captain I think he made the right call. Mercer is not a GREAT Captain like what we often see on Star Trek. That said he is a GOOD Captain and when push comes to shove he puts his crew first. I'm liking the guy.
