  1. Okay. First, thank you for the votes. Here's what we know about our Nest Leader.. He lead a rather vanilla mostly suburbanite lifestyle until he turned to villainy. And I'm going to say he maintains the facade because it brings him a sense of the familiar to do so. He is a he, though he surely has a wife and at least one offspring (See Suburb vibe) He is a mad scientist, going where no one should, and driving to push boundaries into realms some would consider sacrosanct But he is also driven to prove himself the smartest man in any room he's in. Once challenged, he responds by building an elaborate scheme to destroy his foes like a master chess player, though sometimes perhaps he neglects the efficiency of brute force.. I'm working on the details, but in the circles of VIPER he will be known as Professor Transgressor And possibly look something like this
  2. Well, it looked like mad scientist was going to win, and if I had closed it up at 30 votes it would have. BUT Cunning Schemer came in just enough tie it.
  3. This is what happens when Mad Scientists get an obsession with bacon advancement
  4. Cult Classics, as defined by the amazing Scott Bennie are called that "... because he runs his Nest like a cult" Neo-Fascism, a cult of his own invincibility, etc can use. They often have themes ranging from takes on "The South Will Rise again" to "I am the prophet of the Serpent God" or what have you. They tend to be fanatics for their personal causes or visions, many are loons, and the VIPER higher ups watch them very carefully
  5. Damien can be salvaged by a half way decent writer, Syndrome isn't meant to be salvaged. Incrediboy Interstellar Royalty contest Starfire or Lilandra?
  6. I tend to prefer Hawkeye but I really hate some of the things Marvel has done to the character of late. Still, Clint by a nose. Dick Grayson /Nightwing or Bucky Barnes Winter Soldier?
  7. Cows. I feel bad eating a horse, so make my steaks bullish King Arthur mythos or Robin Hood Mythos?
  8. So far The Cunning Schemer has the lead with , The Mad Scientist , and The Respectable Businessman right behind for the first option. Female has a slight lead over male for the second. and British wars with Vanilla American Suburbanite turned to Villainy for the background
  9. Haley's got the right idea... she's wearing the brown armor
  10. I'm sorry, in my campaign Alex Trebek is the covert head of the UNTIL data collection program
  11. Nest Leader Creation by Committee! What could go wrong? Scott Bennie's excellent VIPER work really showed us what Nest Leaders could be like in their motivations and such. And as I Hope, one day, to get back into gaming my local group in a setting that includes "The people of Campaign City" (See the link in my sig for that if you haven't already) I thought I better bring a VIPER nest leader into things after all. But I miss my days of Poll madness so... hence the nutty "Nest Leader by Committee" Idea. Please vote. While there are many many more options, I think I've got enough options to appease EDIT: And I should say the poll was settled well over a week ago so that's done and I've dropped the poll. But read on to see the results.
  12. Armstrong is pretty amazing, but even in his VIPER X 5th Version I consider him above the typical Dragonbranch guy as he just screams "Foe you can respect and team leader" Ripper is usually the guy that has most of my players going "Whatever VIPER is doing, it's got to be big." He's their answer to Grond, and as subtle as nuclear powered tank. Then again, I don't throw VIPERIA at them often so it may make him stand out. Boa Constrictor is probably the most fun to play for personality. A more intelligent and powerful Bulldozer type
  13. Yeah, that was a fantastic story line. I actually grinned like a fool when you saw the collected might of the Federation ready to take the station back
  14. The new sports car with the Plate reading "All D Hos!" was kind of a give away NT: Hollywood seeks to ruin more childhoods with their newest movie which is...
  15. That's part of what I found interesting. I don't think the Union has a Prime Directive, and that and the lack of transporters can have a major twist. I almost hope they revisit this particular bio ship. They probably won't, but I'm curious how the society is affected by this. Traditionally there's going to be a power struggle of some sort, but are we talking full on Reign of Terror or what?
  16. I actually watch Family Guy more but... the Simpsons. The Griffins are truly horrible horrible people, the Simpsons less so. Venture Brothers vs Archer
  17. Lord of Illusions is often more creative so points there Armor Piercing or Penetrating?
  18. All I know is that I thought I hit bottom in my capacity for contempt for this man a long time ago, and then I find out he's created another sinkhole to further the plummet of my ability to tolerate him. His negligence is culpable in death. He may not be the butcher of San Juan, but he certainly is the bystander to suffering and maybe even the voyeur.
  19. STEAK Delicious and you can kill a vampire with it! What? Men at Work or Fine Young Cannibals?
  20. "Okay, its partly cloudy and I hear a dog barking, that means your character's energyblast hit"
  21. The family of mutant cockroaches next door would like to ask you to keep your dogs quieter if you can. One of them works third shift. New Topic: Signs you are now living in a beer commercial
  22. Okay. I just saw Inhumans on the TV . The FX were clearly strained, but I enjoyed it, and the guy playing Black Bolt did a lot of good emoting to substitute for a lack of banter. Also, Lockjaw is hugable. Is this great television? No. was it fun for me? Yes.
  23. Not just you. More than once I thought "Am I imagining that, or is he really nailing the data voice?"
