Adonis and his ladies have been added as a new villain team as has the breakdown 

Asclepius
 
Ellis Brand is the CEO and administrator for Harmony Medical Management, one of the largest health care providers in the country. Ellis is notorious for putting profit first and patients health second and has been the target of several lawsuits and investigations by the HHS. 
 
Then the eclipse happened and he found himself transformed into a veritable god of healing. In his hero form he can mend wounds, cure disease and even reverse the ill effects of aging to a degree.  Asclepius is also an advocate for widespread change in the health care system which puts Harmony in financial jeopardy.
 
Ellis has tried to suppress the transformations through various drugs, hypnosis, and even consulted a supposed mage. None of these worked and he has grown paranoid that his secret will be revealed and cause him to lose the backing of the board and stockholders.

Beacon!
 

Dustin Deeds has been a part of the outrage factory that is the worst of modern TV/Internet news for over three years. He thrives on creating crisis where there is none, peddling misinformation to villify innocents as far as the law will allow, and paints himself as the victim whenever called on his BS.
And He has absolutely no shame in doing so!
That was at least until the Eclipse. After that, his life was no longer his own. He began to transform into the light projector 'Beacon',  a humble hero in gold and blue who fights crime, but worse, has exposed the lies of his news station by presenting evidence. Dustin is in danger of getting fired because HIS password was clearly used. Meanwhile, Beacon saves lives, supports the down trodden, and visits kids in hospitals.
Dustin has bigger problems than he knows. His personal assistant, a woman who really needs her job so she puts up with his sexual harassment and ill treatment, has actually gotten a crush on his 'do gooder alter ego' so his orders to her in trying to stop Beacon are really going nowhere!
 

Carebear Huey McGreggor is a big lovable man, the sort of guy you wish nothing but the best for. Sadly, Huey is jinxed. He doesn't drive or he'll hit every red light there is. He is careful about dating, because he invariably ends up attracting the wrong sort of attention. He's been struck by lightning on a cloudless day. He's pretty durable , it as if something out there wants him to live through things so he can suffer some more. The worst part of his curse was that when it seemed his personal luck was better, the luck of those near him that he was invested in emotionally went down hill instead. He consulted a few mystics and gurus and the like, and they all came to the same conclusion, "you share your jinx with those you care about"
 
This threw Huey into deep depression, until he encountered a supervillain who took the building he was in, and its people hostage. Suddenly, Huey was really focused on that villain, as in he was deeply emotionally invested here! And things went wrong for the villain completely, so very wrong. Devices stopped working for the crook, the villain found out he had an allergy which nearly incapacitated him, and a giant superhero come to the rescue stepped on him.
 
Realizing that 'care' can mean a lot of things, and magic isn't exactly smart, Huey put on a costume with a bear theme, dubbed himself "Carebear" because it would scare fewer innocents than 'doomed jinx walking' and joined the Curse Breakers, the only team that would take him at the time. His favorite tactic is to find out who put a curse on an innocent then 'care' really hard about that curse bringer. He's also enjoying foiling more typical villains. More than one supervillain has been defeated because a man with a bright bear costume appeared and declared "Hey, Scumball, I CARE about you and what you're doing!"

New Team: The Undershadowed
 
You don't have to be superpowered, or even a criminal, to be a complete jerk. In 2024's Solar Eclipse, Five ordinary  self serving advantage taking people found themselves under the shadow of the Eclipse thinking nothing of it. But later they came to realized they had developed super powered alter egos who were civic minded, kind, and good hearted! They can't control the change. One minute each one is 'a winner' (By cynical standards), then the next they're some goody goody in tights who fight crime,  build homes for the homeless, or otherwise help their fellow man! Worse, their alter egos have begun talking to them through mirrors, delivering lectures about how they should be ashamed.
 
Team Number 5!

Wow. Been a few years since I posted anything to this thread!
 
Got some recent commissions from the ever talented Gilbert Monsanto. First up is El Caracol (The Snail), a villain who developed a pair of gauntlets (and the backpack power source) that lets him slow things down to a snails pace. He can paralyze people (making them too slow to move) and reduce speedsters to normal human speed. 
 

 
Next up is Laser, who can manipulate light energy. He can fly, project laser beams, make a force field... typical blaster stuff
 

 
Nocturna built a suit of bat like armor. She can fly, has sensors built into the helmet, and the gauntlets have claws

I was really happy with how these turned out, so I ordered more from him. 

Oskolok
 
When a meteor landed in the Ural Mountains a group of scientists were dispatched with a military escort to investigate. Amongst the soldiers was Corporal Marat Tsurov. The group discovered the meteor was a sphere of metal. As the scientists began to study it, the sphere suddenly began to shift and change shape before sending out metal shards that killed everyone except for Tsurov. He barely survived and after he was evacuated to a hospital a splinter of the metal was found to be lodged in his brain. As the medical staff attempted surgery to remove it, the metal expanded from the wound and formed protective armor around Tsurov and he quickly dispatched all those around him.
 
The days that followed saw Tsurov clash with the military and Russian super team the Protectorate. He managed to hold his own with his nearly indestructible armor and ability to shape and control it into weapons. 
 
He would later begin terrorizing Eastern Europe under his new name Oskolok. His consciousness appears to have merged with the alien substance and is no longer fully human. He seeks to conquer those around him and recover the metal object that part of him emerged from. During his exploits he clashed with other members of the Eight in their activities and was bested by the hero several times. He reluctantly allied with the others and sees them more as pawns and means to an end than true allies.

Had a villain once that had the ability to completely alter reality. He decided that the world was too bad a place and decided to transfer everything into cartoons. He managed to turn most of the city into cartoons including half the characters. Players actually enjoyed it as it was a rather serious and dangerous campaign, but when turned into a cartoon you couldn't die or kill anyone.

Ed Grim the Undead Detective 
 
Ed Grimaldi was a homicide detective working a case involving a series of ritualistic murders in New Orleans. He was betrayed and killed by his partner who was secretly in service of the killer they were investigating named Baron Kriminel. Kriminel then raised Grimaldi as a zombie servant.
 
He acted as an undead soldier for Kriminel until a voudou bokor named Brother Semdi freed his soul. Ed stayed in control of his body as he still had the will to fight evil in this world instead of passing on to the next.
 
He now acts a sort of private detective dealing with cases involving the occult. He has tangled with the likes of the Romany Witch Lavinia, the Cajun cannibal Crowe clan, Kristoff the Lycan King, and the grave robbing ghoul Rictus.
 
He has learned to mitigate the complications that come with being an animated corpse through various magical techniques, but it is still a struggle. He faces these problems with a snarky attitude, gallows humor and wry wit. 

Bee Czar
 
Graham Hawthorne III was born into wealth, largely due to the variety of products produced by the Hawthorne Honey brand his family created. However tragedy struck when a tainted line of product led to damaging lawsuits and a worse reputation to the public. Hawthorne was devastated by this both financially and mentally. He had paranoid delusions that competitors had sabotaged the company and began a twisted series of revenge attacks that were honey and bee based. Soon he would make his new villainous identity known to the world. 
 
He had some success building a small empire and acquired his girl friday in the form of Honey. However he would find defeat at the hands of his heroic rival over and over. Joining forces with his fellow villains seemed like the solution and he believes it was his master plan all along, despite the lack of facts to back that up.
 
He is looked down upon by most of the Eight as a bit of a fool, but he has proven effective with his various honey traps and swarm of killer bee drones. Honey is actually believed to be the more dangerous and cunning of the pair, and is watched more closely by the rest of the team for the possibility of a takeover attempt.

Arm-Ament
 
Eddie Briggs was a five-time loser, having spent most of his life in prison. That's where he was when Mechanon decided that he needed the new technology hidden in the secret bunker under the prison.
Prisons are designed to stop unarmed prisoners getting out, not genocidal super-robots with hordes of combat drones getting in. The secret bunkers' guard force were better but all that did was kill most of the prisoners in the crossfire. (A few heads were going to roll in the DoD over that one.) One of the defenders got lucky, and blew off one of Mechanon's arms before he was obliterated.
 
Eddie was messily and noisily dying nearby, his right arm ripped out at the shoulder. The mechanical arm landed up next to him.
 
Eddie had no idea what to do, but fortunately(?) for him, the arm did. It linked up with Eddie's shoulder, repaired (and improved...) the wrecked socket, and thus gave itself a mobile body. Saving Eddie's life was an unfortunate side effect as far as it was concerned.
 
The arm took a while to do this, and by the time it was done, Mechanon had retrieved his target tech and left. Uncertain what to do next, the arm let Eddie decide to escape.
 
Eddie would have been happy to go back to petty crime and scams, but the arm was in charge. Whenever it decided to do something, it mentally ordered Eddie to do it. And if Eddie demurred, the arm just turned on all of his pain receptors. It decided to join up with Phantom Limb, for reasons of it's own.
 
The arm has a powerful energy beam, a force field and various sensors, which it generally declines to allow Eddie to access. Arm-Ament is limited by the fact that moving around and tactical decisions are taken by Eddie, who is basically a pretty dumb guy, but offensively it's pretty powerful.

Thunder Thighs
 
Babette LaFleur was participating in a lumberjack competition in Montreal when she was caught under a falling tree and had her legs crushed. The superhero Mighty Mountie was making an appearance at the event and had attempted to save her, but was too late. While she was recovering she was approached by the Mighty Mountie's nemesis Doctor Sigmund Fiend. He twisted her mind into believing Mountie was to blame for her injuries. He promised her the chance for revenge and she took him up on his offer.
 
Fiend replaced her legs with powerful cybernetics and she gained the ability to perform strong kicks, earth shaking stomps and to leap high in the air for a devastating dive bomb attack. 
 
After tangling with the Mountie unsuccessfully on many occasions she decided on a change of scenery and relocated to the United States. She worked solo for a short time before being recruited by Phantom Limb as one of the Legs for his team.

Yep. I did borrow the name from the Venture Brothers series. I just thought a guy with invisible and intangible arms and legs but can still walk about as intresting.

I don't have an active campaign so these are just some general musings.
 
Miss Innocent would be introduced after mind controlling an associate of one of the heroes. This would play out with the heroes eventually seeing her as someone to be reformed and turned to the side of good.
 
Winterblade would be a minor villain that is bested by the heroes while committing a robbery but would develop into a rival of one hero in particular, especially if they are a speedster. He would keep popping up to antagonize the hero and their team possibly joining forces with other villains for strength in numbers.
 
Professor Hyde would be a major villain in the campaign with Blackhead acting as his henchmen. He is responsible for other creations that plague the heroes over time or an epidemic in the main city where his drugs turn the population into monsters. He would also inflict one or more of the heroes with his drugs after capturing them, leading to a quest for a cure.

This armor is designed to withstand extreme physical impacts, thermal fluctuations, invective, sarcasm, fashion advice, bad grammar, and corrosive elements, offering unparalleled protection without sacrificing mobility. Comes in a variety of sporty colors and even that hue-shifting paint you’ve heard so much about.
LUCI: At the heart of the DESILU is the Logical Universal Computing Integration its advanced on-board computer. This system houses an extensive dimensional wiki, encompassing a wealth of information on various dimensions' characteristics, flora, fauna, and physics. It also includes comprehensive biological and physics databases, allowing for on-the-spot analysis and decision-making. The LUCI comes equipped with a high-precision calculator, rangefinder, and substantial data storage capabilities. These tools are essential for navigation, research, and tactical assessments in complex environments. As a precaution, the computer is not an AI. We do learn from our lessons here at Proton Labs.
MERTZ: A full spectrum sensor suite, the Multimodal Electromagnetic Radiation Transmission and Zone (detection) package integrates an inertial compass for navigation in environments where traditional compasses fail. This device offers accurate directional guidance irrespective of external magnetic fields, gravitational anomalies, or dimensional distortions. Can also be used as an external drink holder.
RICKY: The suit is integrated with a strength-enhancing feedback system; the Robotic Intensification Compression Kinesthetic Yielder. This feature amplifies the wearer's physical capabilities, allowing for the handling of heavy equipment, the execution of demanding physical tasks, and enhanced endurance. A lot of the suits provide +8 STR and +8 CON, but our example system provides +3 STR and +3 CON, known among Proton Labs personnel as “Little RICKY.”
ETHEL: Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the DESILU is its full-featured Reality Stabilizer, the Environmental Threat/Hazard Emergency Limiter. This technology maintains a stable environmental bubble around the wearer, counteracting the destabilizing effects of interdimensional travel and exposure to exotic physics. It ensures the wearer's safety amidst the unpredictability of cross-dimensional exploration. The last round of test subjects did not turn into rabbits as was expected.
In summary, the DESILU is not just a suit but a portable fortress, a mobile research lab, and a lifeline for those brave enough to venture into the unknown realms of multidimensional space. It stands as a testament to human ingenuity and the relentless pursuit of knowledge and exploration.

There's a defunct youtube channel - Society of Virtue, IIRC - that has a superhero whose whole schtick is pretty much that, beating bad guys by punching their GI tract from within over the course of days or weeks.  Think he was called the Tapeworm or somesuch.

Somehow that didn't occur to me. I could change it...but nahhh. 😀
 
Maybe that refers to a mission where she was accidentally swallowed by someone and her subsequent exit was unpleasant for both parties.

I'd hate it even more when it's abbreviated.  Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a thing.

I.B.S(Itsy Bitsy Spider)
 
Rani Kapoor owned a small electronics firm that was driven out of business by Millstone Mechanical Systems. She broke into one of their facilities to commit sabotage, but ended up stealing plans for a protype four armed exoskeleton. She modified it and began a campaign of revenge against MMS. Satisfied after damaging the company she became a thief known by the name Steal Spider.
 
One of her jobs for the criminal organization The Commission saw her acquire a size changing device. She decided to keep it for herself and incorporated it into her exoskeleton. The Commission did not take kindly to this and she ended on the run for her life. She joined Nursery Crimes to give her safety and strength in numbers.
 
She can shrink herself down to the size of a small spider and was this renamed Itsy Bitsy Spider, a name she loathes. She acts as the team's infiltration expert and spy. Her exoskeleton has cable launchers, can climb walls, have great strength, and a variety of other gadgets to aid  in her operations.

Mass Mustache
The mustache spell would be remembered as a peculiar but defining moment, illustrating the unpredictable nature of living in a world where characters like The Imp wield their powers with a whimsical touch, challenging the mundane reality of Monday mornings in your Champions campaign. I used it as a slot in her Variable Power Pool.
