1. How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?
2. I used these three video clips in my church lesson last weekend:
3. There's a full write-up of Elvis in King of the Mountain.
4. The two types of ship layout are spin and push. The spin-based ships are set up in a giant ring, so their maps would be long and skinny, like a bunch of railroad cars. The gravity for push-based ships always faces toward the engines. You can consider them "flying hotels."
5. Thanks, GD. I hadn't heard of that one. I did think of one more that should go on my list -- The Librarian. It gets rerun enough that many people should know of him. Plus, it gives me a know-it-all in the group.
6. Thanks for the suggestions, all. Kahuna's Bro, I had never watched Monster Force. I'll see what I can dig up, in terms of episodes. Lord Liaden, Selene from Underworld is one of the options I'm considering. I want to make sure there are enough female character choices. Nolgroth, for team size, I'd like at least six, preferably closer to a dozen so that there'll be plenty of options.
7. Tasha, thanks. I hadn't heard of he Cornicks. Other characters I'm considering are: Nick Burkhardt (Grimm) Buffy the Vampire Slayer Alice (Resident Evil) Owen Pitt (Monster Hunter International) Constantine The Lost Girl The Bride (Kill Bill) Jack Burton Wendy Watson aka Dubby (The Middleman)
8. If you were putting together an "all-star" team of urban fantasy characters, who would be on your "must have" list?
9. Pluggity plug for BlackWyrm's erasable maps. Castle and pirate ship now. More coming later.
10. Boy Scouts uncover secret Foxbat technology.
11. Star Wars, as performed to the soundtrack from Schoolhouse Rock.
12. What if the Thor cartoon was written by Jay Ward Studios? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIGdQbQMfNo
13. Johnny Quest: the Boardgame that Should Have Been y2u.be/B9LJfVRzgtw

16. Re: "Neat" Pictures The clown dice are a new offering by GameScience, but I don't see anything about them on their website. I imagine that they'll be available for purchase soon.
17. Re: "Neat" Pictures As a friend of mine calls these, "clown dice." These open up some interesting gaming possibilities. "I rolled a critical hit on blue, with red damage of 5!" "Polyhedral Twister says right hand, green 13."
18. Re: Journey to the Center of the Earth! A new Michael Satran product! If we do kickstart this, it won't be until the manuscript is complete, and we'd be ready to look at art and other expsenses.
19. Re: Western Hero - just got a free copy It has one of my favorite subheadings ever: How to Ride a Horse Off a Cliff and into Water.
20. Re: "Neat" Pictures Units sold? Dollars earned? Audience reached?
21. Re: Creepy Pics. Creepy, funny, or neat?
22. Re: Silver Age villain concepts: The Seven Perils The research program that led to the discover of Agent Orange began in the 50s, so the Orange Peril could be chemical warfare. Blue peril could come from the ocean. The kingdom of Atlantis is at hand.
