rjcurrie got a reaction from Brian Stanfield in POD for 6e1 and 6e2
From what I've heard, they've pulled them because the light blue index entries in the original color PDF comes out as a very light grey when printed and apparently not readable in some copies. It's my understanding that the plan is to fix it then offer the POD again. It's unknown how long that will take.

Sure, why not?  We've already seen a different actor play a younger Sarek, what's wrong with different actors playing Pike, Spock, and Number One? And I would imagine that we will meet Spock. He is the main character's foster brother, after all.

Hmm. I have to disagree with you there. I felt DS9 was far better than TNG.

I'm right clicking on the jar file and going to "open with," then searching for the application through the browse function because it's not offering java or javaw as a potential default run program.

Personally, what I don't want to see:
    * Licensed settings -- no interest at all -- unless someone knows the licensed world as well as those who officially write for it, I really don't want them creating material for it. Plus I have never been the type to imagine myself in a TV or book setting.
    * Detailed settings -- far easier to come up with something of my own rather than reading and absorbing a big book

    What I'd like to see:
    * Books of adventures seeds and ideas with thoughts on where to take them
    * Books of setting ideas with maybe a page or two on each setting
    * In general, books that are more about teaching a GM to fish as opposed to giving him fish.

Franklin claims he's descended from THE Benjamin Franklin. He might very well be telling the truth. He's fluent in every language and is a super-genius gadgeteer. His power suit may be light-weight, but it's remarkable durable, gives him super-strength and packs one heck of an electrical blast. He's a fluent orator as well, preferring to negotiate for a peaceful solution if at all possible. Still, he's not afraid to fight when it comes to it.

However, as his ancestor was rumoured to say "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety," Franklin distrusts the governmental excesses certain people running the nation want to take and will butt heads with any of the more jingoistic members of the team.
