He has/had Texas National Guard blocking border patrol agents' access after the SCOTUS ruling. I'd say that qualifies.

I tried tapir, being something vaguely elephant shaped with a shorter trunk. Didn't go well. I might try the pre-elephants later, but I'm going to snooze now.

For the elephant/A-10: /imagine an A-10 Warthog crossed with an elephant

For the elphant/warthogs: /imagine illustration of a huge animal on the savannah that is a cross between an elephant and a warthog that has four majestic tusks and no trunk --no trunk

    These were on MJ.

I just noticed it was set to 5.2 for those. Going to try the elphant/warthog on 6.

It really leaned into Elephant on version 6, but added bristly hairs. Ignored the --no trunk completely:

Mainly what you're doing with the prompt is telling MJ which images to steal from use as a reference.  If MJ can't quit trunks, you might look into prehistoric pre-elephants like platybelodon or deinotherium.  There will be a smaller base of images to pull from but that might work in your favor in this case.

Local radio news. I'll see if I can find a second source.

OK, here you go, from a TX newspaper site:

Seems like Abbot is using his state police and NG troops to block Border Patrol access to the park.

Maybe it's time to let Texas have that independence they crave so much, and pull all federal funding.

Echo on Disney+ got a lot better in Episodes 4 and 5 as it finally started to address the interpersonal (and intrapersonal) conflicts set up in the previous episodes (and the Hawkeye series).  I'd rate it as average for an MCU series, which would make it above average viewing in general.  The portrayal of Choctaw culture really gives this series a boost, but it could have used a shot of Hawkeye-level humor.

Don't forget to stick around for the mid-credits scene after Episode 5.

This is the scary part. Even if we get rid of Trump, he loses the election, gets tossed in jail . . . this is his legacy.

But my point is that this wasn't how it was presented by Beau. He goes on about it as if it's an actual possibility. That was my read on it. I may be being over negative due to lack of sleep b/c of my back. I do find the guy grating in the first place (no fault of his to be sure), so that doesn't help.

I'm just going to take a moment to provide context regarding Beau. The title of his video is, "Let's talk about Trump, Seal Team Six, and rivals." That is the subject of the video, no false advertising; and he doesn't outline how he's going to link those, although anyone could draw their own conclusions. Provocative? Sure. As L. Marcus points out, he has to intrigue to draw views. Click bait? That's open to interpretation.

The scenario is one actually brought up in the trial, including the use of Seal Team Six. Beau pointed out that what Trump's own legal team is arguing the courts should define as presidential immunity, leads logically to the President being able to do such a thing without penalty unless Congress acts -- which his lawyers stated -- and that the threat of such force would make it practically impossible for Congress to act. And as unclevlad mentioned, Trump's team is already vetting loyalists for high level positions in his administration, who would be expected to not oppose such an order. We know this because his associates have said so, in so many words. (That was the subject of another Beau video.)

Take Seal Team Six out of the equation -- which wasn't even Beau's example -- and the scenario becomes probable if Trump gets what he's demanding. But even if he doesn't, it's a stark reminder and warning of what kind of man he is, what he wants, and what his return as POTUS would mean for America. That's what Beau underscores in the video.

This news just . . . floored me. NC Soft has actually licensed City of Heroes to one of the private servers, Homecoming. I found out yesterday, been making heroes since. It looks like Homecoming doesn't have any major changes over the old live version. It's essentially the live state, with the planned issue updates implemented. Not a huge problem getting back into it. The old cash shop is now a "P2W Store" which lets you buy things from the old cash shop for Influence (in game currency instead). The game always needed an influence sink, so that's a win win. I snipped the announcement post from their forum, but there's also a FAQ and more info in the thread linked:

There aren't a ton of servers, but they're pretty busy. The busiest is very active.  It seems more lively than Champions Online was the last time I peaked in there, around Halloween-ish. The game seems to be run well. There aren't a lot of glitches. It'd be cool if they got a cash infusion big enough to do a graphics and UI update, since it hasn't aged well in that regard, but they rely on donations, so unless a fan hits the lottery that seems unlikely. The gameplay is pretty much the same as it was when I played live. It has its quirks, and in most ways WoW is the better tab targeting combat system, but once I got back in the groove, it's been decent. The tremendous variety of builds and character costume designs are intact, and  in fact more robust. They've both unlocked all of the VIP stuff for free, but have updated and added several power sets. It's been a good experience so far.

As far as making money goes, I think that we can't underestimate the "It's going to be on my streaming in 6 weeks" crowd. I know quite a few people who have this attitude.

There was not anything to explain.  The idea that the super soldier formula slowed aging was never introduced into the MCU.
