  2. I don't always roll a joint. But when I do, it's my ankle.
  3. According to biblical numerology, seven is the perfect number. Trump was indicted on seven counts in this instance. Therefore by the transitive property of federal crimes, Trump is perfect. < share this with all your MAGA friends > /s
  4. I could see some societies not finding enough people with active telepathic genes to continue their family lines without some form of arranged marriages or artificial insemination.
  5. Remember: it's only midevil.
  6. If it's a beginning character, you likely shouldn't have a 14d6 attack. I usually go for 11d6 or maybe 12. But to echo an earlier comment, show us what you've got so we can see what you're trying to do. Otherwise, we're just looking at typing out combinations of disadvantages which could be applied to random powers.

  8. The paying customers are more thoroughly plucked....
  9. Decide which of the existing superhero roleplaying systems you want to rip off. Figure out why people liked it. Figure out why people hated it. Figure out why it went out of business. Do the right things while avoiding the wrong things.
  10. Well, since the channel has ads, I'd assume that Hasbro is going to be more concerned with marketing its own products at cheap ad rates than with trying to run very marginally-profitable streamers out of business. Just a guess.
  11. https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/dungeons-dragons-free-streaming-fast-channel-eone-launch-1235609856/ I could see myself running this channel 24 hours a day. Of course, part of that is that my streaming service disconnects from my TV every time I turn it off so that I have to leave the TV running. But the rest of it is that I totally will be watching this.
  12. I’ve spoken with a heck of a lot of voters over the last 28 years who sincerely think that defaulting on the debt is responsible governing. Admittedly most of them haven’t understood what the debt ceiling is and what it does...and don’t accept what I say when I explain it to them in detail. But even with ones who understand, they think it’s better to do a complete default then start over with zero debt than to either continue to accumulate debt or to slowly pay down the existing debt. And they don't change their minds when I explain, in detail, exactly why that's a catastrophically horrible idea.
  13. Lol...I was thinking: 1" Flight then buy Megascale advantages until you spend 30 points. Seems like the total raw distance moved would be...interesting.
  14. Hmm...looking at the matchup, I think that's a tough one to lose. Now if it was the Cowboys rather than the Broncos...I could see the Cowboys blowing it and having a few season-ending injuries to boot.
  15. Baavo Thunderstruck would host a cash-bar seven day long bacchanal and try to sell commemorative medallions of both the bacchanal and "The Day Social Media Died". ATW would recreate everything from stolen backups. Probably would reveal all the source code from all the social media companies and trash a number of prominent corporations by revealing secret communications, since the opportunity has presented itself.
  16. You forgot to take into account the international date line and relativistic effects....
  17. I think the Broncos have a real chance in week 2 and week 9....
  18. US Civics exam. Recent history of countries of the world focusing mainly on hot spots, major allies, and major potential enemies. IQ test. US geography focusing on how it affects politics (like which states which have large swathes owned by the federal government rather than owned privately, major watersheds and which states they run through, states which have fishing as a major industry and which fish, states with offshore oil drills, states with proposed offshore oil drills, states with offshore wind power, etc.) Basic general sciences test. Personally I'd like those to exist as an absolute requirement for each candidate to take and with the scores made available to the public so candidates could be compared to each other. I wouldn't make getting a low score disqualify the person from holding the office, this is more for exposing the idiots and morons for what they are and letting the public see who is the better (non-idiot) choice. And let the voters decide which of those tests are more important to them. Personally I'd rather have a person of average intelligence who has bothered to educate themselves on civics, history, geography, and science than to have someone whose IQ shows them to be a genius but they haven't bothered to learn anything with their supposed genius. Because if they haven't bothered to learn when they're at least a couple of decades on in life, they're probably going to continue to not bother to learn if they get into office. Lastly, a cognitive test like they do for dementia and mental problems (that might seem redundant but if you have a high IQ and have an interest in the specific areas covered by the other tests, you can pass those tests with flying colors despite having mental problems). I would make failing the cognitive test disqualifying from continuing to run for office. Many people can function adequately with mild dementia and/or memory problems. But they can't function at a consistent level with those problems. And working well with other people (peers or subordinates) who don't have such problems can be a real chore for those other people. Can't remember what you're told, when you were told it, who told it to you, and whether or not what you were told was supposed to be confidential or not? Sorry, you have no business being in office. if testing shows there's someone in the race without those problems.
  19. And he might have gotten away with it if not for all those years when he was a body double for Che Guevera...at least that's what his Twitter claims.
  20. https://www.criminaljustice.ny.gov/nsor/faq.htm 2. Who must register as a sex offender? Anyone who was on parole or probation or incarcerated for a sex offense on January 21, 1996, must register as a sex offender with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services ("DCJS"). In addition, offenders convicted of a sex offense on or after that date, or sentenced to probation, local jail, or state prison after that date, must register upon returning to the community. So yeah, since this was a civil case Trump technically under NY law wasn't convicted of a sex offense.
  21. I didn't know cruise ships were allowed to do that.
