Puttin this here instead of What Have you Watched because deals with Soccer.
We have been watching a series on showtime called The World According to Football with Trevor Noah. Basically does different countries about Soccer and an issue there. Starts with the anonymity and struggle of the women of Brasil. 2nd is on US and why we can't seem to  find players here, was surprising. 3rd was on Premier League of UK and the stress and depression a lot of the players seem to suffer from. Highly recommend.

Anyone else note that a Chargers receiver lined up offside in almost exactly the same way, in the same position in the formation, Thursday night?  And got flagged for it.
 

Dredd: Karl Urban as Judge Dredd. It's a violent movie that is much truer to the source material than the Sylvester Stallone version. It's just a shame that it didn't get a sequel. (4K UHD)
 
The Dark Knight: Second movie in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, and one of the best. (4K UHD)
 
Escape from New York: Air Force One is hijacked and crashes on the island of Manhattan, which is now a federal prison. Snake Plissken is tasked with finding the President, and returning him and a tape before time runs out. This one's released by Shout! Factory, and includes a very clean transfer of the movie to 4K, as well as an Atmos soundtrack. There's also a Blu-ray of extra features included. (4K UHD)
 
I've also watched the Dr Who Special 1: The Star Beast, which reunites the David Tennant Doctor with Donna. I liked it, and will be watching Specials 2 and 3 very soon. (Disney+)
 
 

By the same token tho, we've all seen how successful just throwing money out there has been.  Sure, it's worked at times...and it's bombed at times.  Think Mets.
 
Also, turns out that a major portion of Ohtani's contract is deferred money, so his luxury tax impact is much smaller.
 
What concerns me is if this is going to spark another round of *massive* contract inflation.  Sure, Ohtani's unique...on the field and off.  He's the most marketable, the most popular player in baseball, and maybe the only rival in US pro sports now would be LeBron.  But, the other players and their agents will see the number.  And hey, maybe it'll be a while before it's *beaten*...but it raises the ceiling SO high that there's massive space underneath it.

Problem is, as my brother has pointed out, that Bama has 1 loss AND 3 wins against unranked teams in the last 2 minutes. They really don't deserve to be there.

After reading a bunch of Reddit posts I was persuaded to give Farscape a try. Four Episodes it, it's not bad, but seems a little cramped after the first episode, but people are fitting in to their characters. Not a lot yet I could use for a traveller campaign, but it's nice to see aliens that were more than just bumpy foreheads.

I have never, ever understood this. You have a defense that's been working the whole game long, so you do something else for the last two minutes? Nonsense. Ya gotta dance with the girl that brung ya, as the saying goes. 

Why am I still watching MNF tonight?

Yeah, but wasn’t the first incident with Punk. He had literally just returned after the stuff with Omega and the Bucks. Also, Perry hasn’t worked since then either.
