death tribble
Memorable to the majority for Alien and Lord of the Rings, British viewers had a lot more of him in the theatre and television. Michael Hopcroft
IIRC he played Napoleon on film multiple times. He played (and owned the part of) Polonius in Franco Zeffirelli's film of Hamlet, opposite Mel Gibson.

And in 2001's The Emperors New Clothes, as Napoleon and as the army sergeant with whom he switched places. I want to see that movie now. One of the films I did see him in, and where he acquitted himself extremely well, was The Madness of King George, as a physician given the daunting task of treating George III's serious psychotic episodes a few years after the American Revolution was lost. Dr Willis is demanding, harsh, but ultimately compassionate, doing his utmost with the limited medical knowledge available in the 1780s.
