Christopher R Taylor
Yeah I'm sure I would find it interesting, were I able to look at it.

Still, the effort to bring it to our attention is much appreciated, BJB. At least now I have aomething to hunt for!
BigJackBrass
Ah, sorry, I didn't realise that was a requirement. I've asked the OP at the RPGpub whether they're willing to make it available over here. Bunch
Finally got setup here. Here's the document I found in a Champions Boxed set. I picked the box up at Half Priced Books in Redmond WA. No names in the box to indicate who might have owned it prior to me except a hand written character named Voyager/Star Dancer. Sketchpad
That's pretty awesome, Bunch. Thanks for sharing.
Hugh Neilson
A lot of those made their way into later products. That Multiform was in Champions III, I believe.
Christopher R Taylor
You should put this in the files section for people to find and download there Khymeria

Bunch
Yeah I haven't gone through to see how the costs / text changed from these docs to the published material. I don't know if anyone here has compiled how things change during various printings. I know I have different earlier Champions 2e printing where the costs of things change from printing to printing. Sort of interesting too back and find.

GDShore
Thank you Bunch, I can see some of this being very useful in a FH setting. Khymeria
Christopher R Taylor
I really like the Shrugging Aside maneuver, seems a missing element for combat now. Ninja-Bear and Khymeria
Christopher R Taylor
In fact, the more I think about it, the more I am going to put that into my Player Guide for combat maneuvers in Jolrhos. Its clean and effective, I wonder why they dropped it?
Hugh Neilson
It may have evolved into the more general Casual Strength. Ninja-Bear
Christopher R Taylor
Probably, I think it will end up in the stunts section where I try to explain how to do stuff people may have seen in movies etc. That was one of my favorite parts of Western Hero by Matt Forbeck, its a great way of helping people know how to play the game
unclevlad
I think Hugh's probably right, that it just became a use of Casual STR. The writeup also has Paralysis, which shows up...structured a bit differently...as Mental Paralysis. The writeup also has Splitting, C III has Duplication. I'm not sure if they're intended to be the same, as the costing is WILDLY different, but the implementations appear to be otherwise the same, altho the power in the book goes into issues the playtest notes don't, which is to be expected. Hugh Neilson
It feels like these were drafts, well before Champs III, many of which made it in, many with modifications presumably arsing from the playtesting, and some name changes. I recall that Multiform example from 3e, so gut feel is that it did not change much. The others were changed considerably more, but the concepts were included. Tech
Thanks, BJB. I had this a long time ago but it's lost. It's great reading this again, and fun.
