Christopher R Taylor
Underworld Enemies, I don't have.
Lord Liaden
The characters of both books are at the upper edge of "street-level" supers, verging into "four-color." More so the one on the right TBH.

I'm playing with an idea of Hudson City Beyond since next year (??) Is the anniversary of the 5th ed release.
Trencher
Underworld enemies are the best Herogames book hands down.

IME using 5E would make it really easy to draw on all the published 4E material for DC, due to their very high compatibility. Cygnia
Does the Harbringer of Justice still exist in 5e/6e?
Grailknight
Yes, he does and he's just as broken. It's just harder to see until you add in all the Weapon Master. Cygnia and Christopher R Taylor 1
Christopher R Taylor
Hey, if you cannot add in your favorite character and Batman clone when you write a book, there's no justice!
Lord Liaden
Harbinger's 5E/6E incarnation is a little more grounded in reality, lacking his previous supertech gimmicks like his portable pocket-dimension infinite arsenal. Still has the cool hat-and-trenchcoat look, though. Edited August 15, 2023 by Lord Liaden
Trencher
Harbinger of Justice was made to fight superhero level threats. He would be clunky to insert into scenarios but as a solo dude and as a background character he works well. As for the vigilantism angle and the problem that can cause I am old school late 80's attitude. Vigilantes that kill are villains but just like any good villain you can understand where they are coming from. Batman never kills the Joker so he would not kill the Punisher either. He throw him in jail though. wcw43921
Dr. MID-Nite
I ran Shadows of the City in its entirety with my group and we had a great deal of fun.
Lord Liaden
It's a cool adventure series, although really more appropriate for full supers IMHO. The tone is darker than typical four-color, but many of the opponents have genuine super powers and are quite formidable to pit against most street-level supers.
