Re: Longest Running Thread EVER

I've seen shots taken with cameras that had "lenses" whose outermost component was a 90-degree mirror. That way the camera looks like it's pointed well away from its actual field of view, and you can get candid shots of people who react badly to having a camera pointed at them. It won't help with someone/something that flees cameras in any circumstances, though.

Josh and I just got shiny new camera phones with our new cellphone plan. We've been snatching candids of one another all night.

To my annoyance, Josh's candids look a lot better than mine.

Does that mean that the one he takes are better, or the ones taken of him are better?

Is the glucose required for the right enzymatic reaction?

Dunno about that, but I expect that the sugar is what makes the cookie crunchy after it cools and the sugars recrystallizes. Being that it's likely also at least partially carmelized, that adds to the flavor as well.

We had ham for dinner the other night. I took a couple of slices of the leftovers into the bedroom last night as a late snack. Momcat informed me in no uncertain terms that ham is not a food ... it is a transcendent religious experience.

My cat is the same way. if you give him ham, watch your fingers.

*chuckle*. I'm baby-sitting my sister's puppy. He likes chicken best.
