shadowcat1313
Re: Name That Band Hero! coming into the thread late, I only come up with two right off the bat for this one Steve Miller Band: Space Cowboy The Joker heres one we ought to be able to do something with but I am going braindead on parts of it: the supergroup is called Uncle Johns Band: the groups base is named Terrapin Station: Dire Wolf Deadhead I always figured that with all the strange people and recreational chemicals that followed the grateful dead, there was probably potential for a hero or villain to crop up. I have worked concessions and catering at a 10,000 seat arena and a 15,000 seat football stadium for over 30 years and the first concert I ever worked was the Grateful Dead, we ran completely out of corn dogs before intermission... cant imagine why I dont remember a lot from the concert other than the blue haze about halfway to the ceiling, and getting to hear a bootleg tape years later, they finished the show with Werewolves of London
lapsedgamer
Re: Name That Band Hero! Threre are a lot of good character concepts in this tread. This is a great way to brainstorm. Paranoid Android: A not quite master villain in the mode of Mecahnon. Powerful government-built combat android with a bad logic chip who believes that everyone is out to destroy him, so he must act first. (mid-level ,very Silver Age) Street Spirit: A female low-level martial arts/gadgeteer with a mystic theme. Has smoke bombs and other toys that play up the ghost motif. Think Mysterio meets Batgirl. Kid A: Grown in a vat by Tellios. Superhuman physical stats and intellect. Educated in all areas of human knowledge by direct nueral stimulation while in "the womb." Quite possibly one of the most dangerous individuals on the planet, and all of thirteen years old. Creep: A horribly mutated serial killer, who lives in the sewers and preys upon hookers, addicts and the homeless. By terrorizing and then consuming them he stores the adrenalin in their sysytems for later use. He gains increased STR, DEX and CON, as well as damage reduction and resistance. A Mr. Toomes rip-off. (low-level, very Iron Age) Scatterbrain: Powerful mentalist with almost limitless power, but with limited control. One minute she's capable of lifting tanks with TK, the next minute she has enough power to mindscan and zap every tenth person at Safeco Field.
