Marcus Impudite Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Nothing too heavy this time, but definately from the "that's weird" file: It's a fairly typical day, your character is minding his/her own business when he/she comes across something strange: A ladder so tall that it stretches higher in the sky that normal vision can see. Either by climbing the ladder or using Telescopic Vision, your character spots someone in white painter's overalls standing at the very top of the ladder. This person's holding a paint roller and a can of blue paint, and he/she is apparently painting over what looks like a scuff mark on the "sky." WWYCD? Random movies and tv shows go through his head with this type of theme and starts to wonder if he's going to get another trip in we're all just some guy's imagination playing a game scenario...He knows that is not true, it's the guys playing the game in HIS imagination. Tao: She’d think there was a strong possibility it was some form of telepathic illusion meant as a distraction or bait (particularly if no one else seems to see or react to it), alert the rest of her team and observe from a secure, concealed location. Shidoku: First, she’d wonder why she was up when the sun was still up, try to remember the last time she saw a blue sky in the first place then try to figure out if it was a cybernetic malfunction or overindulgence in recreational pharmaceuticals behind this. It's actually something of a moment of relative sanity. Sonic Eagle would be vexed by this. Did things suddenly turn into The Truman Show overnight? Kitsune has a Japanese mind, so she wouldn't be too phased. At least no-one was being molested by tentacles. Though this is a bit odd even for her. Lab Rat would try to contact the Masks. "Uhm, guys, it looks like something bad just happenned to physics. I might be a while investigating this." And then he would try to talk with the painter to see what's going on, at ther best opportunity available. Anubis, Alien Mystic of the Pesedjet star system, would certainly be curious about what was going on. This sort of thing is not supposed to happen.
