Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Nice pics and idea so far...as for the other two, I'd guess that Autumn would have

some sort of Transformation powers, while Fall might possibly be a gravity control-

ler. That's just a SWAG on my part, though.

You know Autumn and Fall are the same season, right? One of them will most likely be Spring...

Working on an idea for a group of NPC superheroines. I haven't been able to stat them out, since I'm still stuck back in 5th Edition. Here are the pictures, anyway....

Summer and Winter of The Four Seasons!

Date both of these at the same time, and this song applies.

And now for a little something from the dark side:

The re-imagined Samuel Arkane, a.k.a. Hellmage.

Shown in the pic along with him is his demonic familiar, the giant cobra called

Firefang; and his guardian hellhound Thanatos.

Although an inhabitant of the Infernal Realms since his Earthly -- and entirely

unplanned -- demise, Samuel Arkane managed to make an...arrangement...

with the Dark Powers whereby he would be allowed to return to the mortal

world to work evil on their behalf. To aid him in this, the Dark Powers not only

increased his mystic powers, they restored his youth as well. In addition, they

also gave him the eldritch Sword of Shadow, a weapon of vast, evil power.

The resurrected Samuel Arkane now walks among the people of the modern

world, serving his "benefactors" by doing evil deeds on their behalf, while

plotting the corruption -- or destruction, if need be -- of his descendant, the

heroic sorceror known as Professor Arkane. In the course of his depradations,

Hellmage (as he has since become known) has made enemies of many mystics

on the side of good.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Presenting the Predators, a team of mercenary supervillains who'll take any

high-paying job, no matter what it is or who's paying them.

From left to right, they are:

Desmodus -- possessing the power to drain and feed upon the life energies

of human beings, this villain wears an armored uniform with a built-in anti-

gravity device and underarm wings, enabling him to fly.

Trapdoor -- the super-genius of the team, his specialty lies in the creation

of sophisticated traps which are designed to capture even beings possessing

metahuman abilities and powers.

Cerberus -- the leader of the team, he was the subject of an experimental

"super-soldier" project, in which he was not only genetically modified for

superhuman agility and strength, but was also given retractible razor-sharp

claws in his hands and feet and an accelerated healing rate. An unexpected

side-effect of the experiment activated a latent mutation in his body, giving

him the power to split himself into three identical beings; this power also

enables him to create functional duplicates of anything that happens to be

on his person at the time.

Suzumebachi (Hornet) -- a gifted engineer and scientist, this Japanese-

American created three different devices to use in her criminal career: an

anti-gravity flight system, a "molecular reduction field" which enabled her

to shrink in size, and a cybernetic helmet which enabled her to communi-

cate with -- and control -- insects; specifically, Japanese hornets -- some

of the most dangerous and vicious insects on the planet. Since joining the

Predators, she has added a set of what she calls "sting-blasters" to her

arsenal; the discharge from these weapons causes effects in their victims

similar to those caused by the stings of Japanese hornets: severe and ex-

cruciating pain. To make matters even worse, the effects of the blasts are

cumulative.

Naga -- the origins of the half-humanoid, half-serpentine creature known

as Naga are a mystery, even to her fellow Predators. What is known is that

she is every bit as dangerous and deadly as the rest of her teammates. Not

only can she move with preturnatural silence, she can also coil herself around

a victim and constrict in the manner of such large snakes as anacondas or

pythons. And if that wasn't enough, she can also deliver a venomous bite;

she has the ability to alter the strength of the venom so that she either

leaves her victim paralyzed but alive, or kills him within minutes by slow

suffocation.

All in all, a seriously nasty group of people indeed...
