Fortunately Hector had a fairy godmother. Unfortunately she knew the good doctor. The Doctor interviewed Hector and saw his problem. He gave him an option to take his solution or try life on his own. Hector had recently being scared by the gangs and given an ultimatum so naturally he took the doctor up on his offer. And the next time the gang came calling they ran into Hector the Were-Hippo. They did not trouble him thereafter. Now on any night that is not a full moon, and any day that does not end in a full moon, Hector can turn into a quasi hippo. This makes him very strong and he can take an awful lot of punishment as the real hippos can. An added benefit is that he really enjoys being in water and mud now. Of course the more mayhem and bloodshed there is the more likely the plan is to succeed. Madame Fortuna also looks to see what evil will occur in the world and then tells certain people and they profit. One of these is The Corruption. Initially it seemed like a tool for justice but When he couldn't stop hearing the inner evils of everyone around him he snapped he has gone from a crusader for justice to a dark vigilante killing indiscriminatly anyone who he considers a sinner. He was rejected by every hero team he attempted to join, and was often ridiculed for having "ridiculous powers." Eventually he decided to show them how impressive his powers really could be. (He can turn his own nerve sensitivity down enough to cut nearly all STUN from attacks against him, and do the reverse to foes, increasing the STUN damage done by other Sensations members. He became the villain Numb and joined the Sensations. (And if the Sensations are a true band, Numb can play a pretty mean set of drums.) The continued abuse of the drops made him insane, forcing him to gorge out his own eyes. But, the drops were still active, allowing sight without eyes. But the corruption of one location by chemicals, radiation and maybe a touch of magic overwhelmed him and sent him mad. He now can detect the approach of the police by the smell of the cars, the petrol that they use, the odour of the uniforms and the scent of doughnuts. Sentinel was a super agent able to enhance his senses to superhuman levels until he fell afoul of DEMON. they tortured him the pain with his extraordinary senses broke him and as a final insult they took his eyes ears and tounge burning them out with red hot pokers. It took him years to recover dumped on the streets he learnt to see using his hyper sensitive sense of touch and hear by the vibrations through surfaces. He made money by using his abilities to feel the winning combinations in slot machines. Bitter at the world that had failed to save him as he had saved it so often. Eventually he had recovered enough to turn to crime in the hopes of getting enough money to restore his senses. He joined the sensations to compensate for his lost senses he dresses in smart suits but without shoes to enhance his tactile senses. He is an expert at wing chun style king full an he has started using heavy steel cored rubber balls as a weapon using his supple wrists to them bounce them ifrom hard surfaces to strike enemies from unusual angles. He is able to avoid most distractions he can't be distracted by flashing lights or buzzers and bells. He now goes by the name PINBALL. If using the drops over time can allow Doctor X to see without eyes, they can do the same for Pinball. Of course Doctor X doesn't need his drops anymore, having use them so long as to gave himself permanent sight powers. That doesn't mean that Pinball would have restored sight for long, but enough for him to get along with eyeglasses to hide his burned out eyes. Discordance as she is now know is the sensations WMD when out numbered out gunned or just in need of a big distraction they deactivate her psychosuppression collar and let her loose to sow chaos in her wake. When not manifest she is a slight mousy woman in hospital scrubs gibbering softly to her self with a high tech metal collar around her neck. When the collar is off she is the eye of a chaotic storm of dazzling lights coloured energy fields strange smells and deafening sounds. One, his daughter Jade was killed in a battle between a group of young super heroes and VIPER. And two, he was dieing from inoperable cancer. So, using his vast resources from years of the mercenarie life, he plotted a plan to get his revenge on all super heroes, and to stay alive long enough to see it through.
