Sundog
Neandertal Master The least understood of the team, this man looks like the prototypical Neanderthal Man - large, well built, short but massive, with notable brow ridges. But far from being a brick, the Neandertal Master is only a little stronger then average, it is his mental powers that make him dangerous. He can teleport to any location beneath the earth, view through the rock to find caverns and voids, and mentally control any person underground. It's not clear why these abilities don't work above ground, and Neandertal Master isn't saying. death tribble
Lorehunter
The murderous villain Carlsbad Cavern enjoys cause the slow death of his victims. By causing stoney stalagmites to burst from the ground and impale his targets he gets to watch them like bugs on pins. Quackhell
The Lechuguilla Monster A large animated mineral formation that suddenly gained life and went on a rampage. Covered by spiky gypsum deposits that seem to regenerate immediately when damaged it also spits out sulphuric acid and gas from a rudimentary mouth. death tribble
Wookey Hole This British villain can create holes in the air which act like a vacuum and drag someone like a black hole. Werehawk
THE BLACK OCEAN Six aquatic villains whose specialties center around exploiting the untapped riches of the worlds oceans. They are not your average run-of-the-mill pirates, scavengers, or illegal prospectors. These folks have serious skills and equipment and economic backing and are not going to let international law stop them from getting what they want (if it's valuable enough, a skirmish with Atlanteans isn't out of the question). steriaca
Baron Chudda Baron Chudda was once a VIPER hireling picked for his understanding of the sea. He was a part of the nest leader known as Hrog's big plan for his underwater nest. Unfortunately a group of heroes found the nest and eliminated it with full force. Later the Baron (it is a villain name, and not a title) awoken as a cyborg with aquatic abilities. Cybernetic gills, a hook which transforms into a hand (and vica versa) and other improvements to allow him to relax deep in the sea. He doesn't remember who the leaders of the Black Ocean are, but are loyal to them nonetheless.
Sundog
Shark Eight meters long, jaw full of rows of triangular teeth, a powerful tail and stabilizing fins...but also a sleek set of arms folded up beneath capable of fine manipulation or powerful, ripping strikes, a brain far larger and more complex than any fish has a right to, and modified gills capable of working just fine in air. This is Shark. Black Ocean reasoned that, rather than make a man aquatic, why not make a shark smart enough to comprehend orders and give it the tools to get the job done? To be honest, however, Shark has been a bit of a failure as an agent. Too aggressive, too single minded. But as a killing machine..? death tribble
Lorehunter
30,000 years ago mankind was so primitive it could barely understand languages and tools let alone the mystical workings of the world. In this time Nu moved through all the waters of the land. Then mankind began to learn and understand. In doing so they began to break up the wonder and mystery of the world into smaller and smaller portions so that their primitive minds could more easily understand things. This process broke up Nu and tore him apart. He lashed back but they were many and grew in both power and numbers. Eventually Nu saw his future and so he retreated and hid himself away. Over time he was forgotten. In the darkness of the deep waters he regathered his powers. Now his is rising to once again claim his place as Master of All Waters. death tribble
death tribble
Seven Seaszar The undisputed master of all the waterways (well according to him at least) the man who is known as The Seven Seaszar or Seas Czar (get it ?) is an Oceanographer gone bad (that is if you believe his MySpace homepage). He is the one who provides the team with agents and vehicles He has stylised uniforms, armour and headgear with Russian Imperial Navy or Soviet Navy insignia (Czar get it ?). He is referred to as 'Sir !' by subordinates and anyone who is not him is a subordinate. Despite his airs and graces he can sail almost any vessel from yachts to submarines. He can even repair them. He is the most adventurous and perhaps the most obnoxious
Quackhell
Punga A massive and powerful man of Maori descent who gained his name after the God of sharks, rays and ugly creatures because his many battles left him covered in scars. He was cursed by a practioner of mākutu to be a slave to the sea. He could now breath underwater and survive the powerful depths, but when he ventured on to dry land was consumed by a horrible bloodlust. He became the leader of the Bloodtide Tribe whose members had been likewise cursed. Recruited by The Black Ocean to act as an aquatic army they have proven to be a devastating force under Punga's clever and brutal leadership. Quackhell
Tigre Blanc Kirby Pierre was a bonvivant getting by on charm and good lucks in his native France for years. He eventuslly began a business of transporting luxury yachts and this brought him to Hong Kong. While there he fell in with a smuggling ring. He was betrayed by them and left for dead only to be discovered by a ninja assassin who was hired to kill the smugglers. The ninja was going to end Pierre's life, but realized he could use him for information. Pierre healed and gave the ninja details on the operation , but also requested that he train him and allow him to help kill the men. The ninja complied and with his help he got revenge. Their partnership continued until one day the ninja simply disappeared. Pierre took up the half insulting nickname the ninja had given him and continued on as an assassin for hire. He incorporates the ninjitsu he was taught with savate which he was already adept at.
death tribble
Silent Assassin Even among the Ninja the Japanese man known as the Silent Assassin is exceptionally quiet. He comes from the Koga clan so he has antecedents and lore dripping from his pores so to speak. But he hardly ever speaks. A nod, a raised eyebrow or a hand gesture and he can be clearly understood. He understands sign language. He does not subscribe to purity of blood or that only Japanese can be Ninja. He understands English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese. It is not known whether he knows Arabic, Hindi or any of the African languages but he is rumoured to have done assignments in those countries. He is quite happy undertaking espionage missions or assassinations. He is the most non-descript of the group and could easily be mistaken for a mere functionary rather than a high level operative. He is most adept at Ninjutsu and the use of all the classic Ninja weapons and tricks. What sets him apart from the others is how quiet he can be and can thus get a few death strikes in before his opponent even knows he is there. It is known that he hates anything that paints the Ninja in a bad way. For some reason this means the Power Rangers and derivations thereof. Anyone comparing him to something like this is in for a world of hurt.
Sundog
Iron Hawk Sigrid von Mienbad was born in Uruguay to dedicated, unreformed Nazis. He grandparents had used the "ratlines" to escape Europe after WWII, had a bunch of kids and inducted them into their ideology. Her parents were at first hesitant about giving up their daughter for training as a spy and assassin - a good Nazi girl's job was to marry and have lots of Nazilings - but she was spirited and headstrong, and they saw a chance to give her what she wanted while doing their part for the Cause. Sigrid was taught the arts of stealth, infiltration, acting, seduction. She also learned to use various weapons, ranging from blowguns to artillery, though she had a particular liking for knives and the Filipino art of Kali . She made her first kill at 13, using her youth to get close to a pedophile politician - she was so disgusted by him she first paralyzed him with a toxin, then castrated him and allowed him to bleed out. (Her handlers rated this only a 9 out of 10 - he could have been saved if he'd been found before he exsanguinated.) However, Sigrid is a highly intelligent individual. Shortly after she turned 18 (and just after her 35th assassination), she murdered her handlers, obliterated all their records of her in a fire, and went freelance. She recognized her parent's ideology as obsolete, stupid and worthless in the modern world, and she has no use for inferior ideas. Sigrid's skillset is all about killing. She is quite capable of gathering information, exploring areas, and scouting, but she sees these as secondary to her real job of ending lives. She is not dispassionate about this - on the contrary, she quite enjoys her work. In her time she has killed men, women, children, anything she gets paid for, or who gets between her and her target. Her fellow Ninja view her as a go-to for pure wetwork. death tribble
Lorehunter
White Phantom Born a very long time ago, before the rise of the samurai, a boy was born to a small mountain clain. They were "allied" to the Tengue of the mountain and the boy was sent to their allies as was the custom. The boy was never seen again by his family. Years and years later after the rise of the 1st Shogun and the coming of the Samurai a group of soldiers came upon the village. They were tired and had marched far. They decided the village would be a good place to rest. The slept in the best places, ate most of the food, took who they pleased to bed, killed those who objected or who they just didn't like. On the 5th day as they were get ready to leave it was a cold and foggy morning, the smell of snow in the air. On the road before stood a figure in white. He called out to the men in stilted Japanese and told them they had to pay for the way they had used the village and its people. The soldiers laughed and derided the stranger in white but he was no longer there. They started to leave and continue their journey. Every 10 feet they moved away from the village one of their number dropped dead. When only 10 remained the stranger appeared again. "I have collected what was owed to the village of the bodies of your comrades. You are free to continue. If you fail to pay again I will return and collect payment." A small just of wind swirled the mist and the stranger was no longer there. Over the decades and centuries when debts are owned, the White Phantom has been there to collect, usually in blood. He seems to always know who owes the debt. and if the person can pay. If they can not they die. If they can they are tormented until they do. In a group he starts with those that owe the most and works his way down to the least. He has never slain a child but they are often taken as payment never to be seen again by their loved ones. He does not like working with Iron Hawk. for one she is a woman and should stay home, keep the house and care for the children as that is her place and her debt. He does admit she is an effectective killer if a bit indiscriminate and messy. death tribble
death tribble
So far, so good. White Phantom is a very nice twist. Fist of Hou This member of the group is Chinese. The ninja clans decided that they needed an ethnic Chinese operative for espionage and assassination in China and amongst Chinese communities and they recruited accordingly. Trained from childhood he is only ever called Wei. Whenever someone is needed to infiltrate Chinese organisations, Wei is the one that is used when just another Chinese face will not be noticed. His code of honour lead to him being given the name Fist of Hou and he lives upto the ideal whenever he can. He feels a great satisfaction in killing Chinese officials who abuse their power or making sure evidence arises that leads to them being publicly disgraced or executed. He knows Kung Fu in several different forms as well as Ninjutsu. He does not like the Japanese members like White Phantom or Silent Assassin both of whom frighten him. He is appalled by Iron Hawk not because she is a woman but due to her zeal in killing people. Lorehunter

csyphrett
The assassin known as Joe is an expert with a rifle. No one ever sees him because he can hit a target from over a mile away, disassemble the rifle, and walk away before any law enforcement can figure out where he was shooting from. Every job is planned with options built in for changed routes. Joe has some martial art training, but is not known for getting up close so the victim can see him. But a bullet in the eye is his trademark and some victims have been found deep in personal bunkers with the killer not standing out to security. death tribble
Iron Buffalo The same masters who realised that they needed a Chinese operative decided that an African American would be an asset. Jim Smith, don't laugh it is his real name, was again trained from childhood to be a ninja. Africa is not a real fertile ground for business but America is and that is where Jim primarily works. Other African Americans have claimed that he was brainwashed by the Japanese to be loyal to them and not his 'own people'. Jim ignores them. He knows who he is and what his employers are. He is an extremely calm man who can act any African American stereotype you wish. He is fearless and some have described him as a Jem'Hadar. He has already died and now goes into battle to reclaim his life. He gets on with all the others but treats The White Phantom as his superior. He blends Ninjutsu with Jeet Kune do. Lorehunter
Spider's Bite She was born somewhere in Asia to a mixed heritage. Her parents "left" her with relatives who "decided to give her a better life". Her childhood and adolescent years are not know of and she never speaks of them. Indeed she speak rarely at all. When she does talk her voice is cold and emotionless and oddly slow, like she is carefully turning each word over in her mind to taste it and see if it is the right one. She is slight of build being barely 4'8" and about 60 lbs. Her skin is pale but her eyes and hair are black. Many have a difficult time looking into her eyes as they lack any color other than the deep black of the iris that covers the entire eye. They say the eyes are windows on the soul and looking into Spider's eyes shows she has no soul. Of all the members she is the least when it come to hand to hand combat. Where she excels is in rare poisons. Fast acting, slow building, untraceable, untreatable, painless or painful, whatever effect the client may want she has a toxin to fit the bill. Additionally she has learned thousands of methods of delivery for almost any situation. death tribble
death tribble
The Bloodless Assassin A Japanese albino this member of the group can take injury from which no blood seems to appear which led to his nickname or nom de guerre. He often appears topless. His appearance is unnerving to civilians and paranormals alike. He is used particularly when a degree of intimidation or foreshadowing is deemed necessary. He is noticeable and that is used for unnerving effect which can allow others to carry out an assignment. He is a wetworker with either firearms or edged weapons getting up close and personal and can be bathed in the blood of his victims. He does not have any tattoos which some think would mar his appearance. The Silent Assassin and White Phantom are the only members who will request his presence on an assignment, the others do not like having him around. He puts them off and unnerves them which seems to delight him. However a look from the Silent Assassin or White Phantom can bring him to heel. His primary martial art is ninjutsu but he knows a lot of karate moves as well. Anybody wanting to post a new team after this is welcome.
