Of the Council of Eternity (these guys) only Shazam the Wizard escaped. Shazam arrived on Earth in the distant past. He had some mild amnesia. During WW2, Shazam & Granny Goodness we’re part of a ultra top secret SHIELD project involving xenobiology. We are talking aliens (Kree, martians), Inhumans, Amazons, and New Gods. Carol Danvers followed Shazam and joined SHIELD and rose up the ranks. Now we don’t know if Shazam is Carol’s father, grandfather or great grandfather or ancestor, but they are related somehow. By the same token, we don’t know if Granny is Carol’s mother, or any sibling relationship Carol has with Black Adam, if any. Both Granny Goodness and Black Adam are Agents of SHIELD. As of the reunion, Carol and Shazam, are no longer part of SHIELD. The split was acrimonious and it seems it was due to the children. And that leaves the children: Kamala, Mary, Donna, Megan, Barda, Harleen, Sue and Phyla. Shazam suspects the kids are the reincarnated souls of the Council of Eternity but is keeping this a secret. The kids meanwhile and started to call themselves “The Council of Marvel”. We still don’t know what Granny’s connections to Barda, or if Mary Marvel is the daughter or granddaughter to Shazam. It’s all part of the intrigue. Was Granny or Black Adam previously members of the Council of Eternity and reborn into their present identities? What stake does SHIELD has in this? Validus has been shifted back through time from the 30th century in his human form as the child of heroes of the future (One of those being Saturn Girl but she was pulled so I am going with Nameless Parents). He is placed in the care of the Super Family. The Fatal Five want Validus back but don't have the resources to get him back. The LSV do have those resources, but they don't want Validus back in the 30th Century. Instead they trigger Validus's transformation into his monstrous self to wreck Superman's hometown. As the Super Family try to keep Validus from wrecking everything, Rick Dicker and some help from Division 6, and a guy claiming to be from the future, try to find a cure and revert Validus back to being a baby again.
