    I was thinking about combining Ars Magica with Vampire and Werewolf, both of which have their own Dark Ages supplement. Then add the Highlander mythos for good measure.

    I'm still working on my homebrew based on California as an island aka Insula Calafia (Island of Calafia), based on a legendary Amazon queen who included griffins in her forces. I'm also working on the changed geography and adding fantasy elements, such as turning California Condors into rocs. I also renamed a couple of the major cities. San Francisco = Porta Aurea (Golden Gate) Los Angeles = Urbs Nuntiorum (City of the Messengers) Other details are extrapolated from this video:

    I used to go to a diner that had an old-school vibe. It was a few blocks from my workplace. Of course, when I switched jobs to a different city I couldn't go there anymore. The diner closed a few years ago.

    I got an email about an upcoming workshop on Saturday the 27th*. Unfortunately, there may be a time conflict, as I've got a MERP game that day. My biggest beef with the ASP and other such organizations is that they offer memberships but not jobs. I would love to work for such an organization, but it seems it's only interested in asking me for money I don't have. *EDIT: It turns out the workshop is just a revised version of a course I took a few years ago, so I can happily skip this one.

    Subscribing to YT is not free. YouTube Premium costs about $14 per month. It's cheap if you watch a lot of videos, but it's an added expense I can't afford at this time. I should just watch more of another channel (MHz Choice) that has a lot of shows from different parts of the world, mainly Europe, but they've expanded.

    Last night, one of my cats got hungry. She went to the plate left out for all the cats, but it turns out all the food had been eaten. She just sat and stared at the empty plate until I gave her some food.

    Last night I cleared out my "Watch Later" list on YouTube. That took a while because I had amassed long list (250+ videos) due to procrastination. I also unsubscribed from a bunch of channels I had stopped watching. I can still watch the videos posted here and on Discord, without the ads. Otherwise, I can watch YouTube with Microsoft Edge. The trick is not to sign in.

    If you're going to set your campaign in Medieval England, you may find one of the calendars here useful. Just for grins and giggles, you can find the phases of the Moon here. Why? Because werewolves, that's why.
