Re: Requirements for Fantasy Hero Well it all depends like mentioned. I dont have Sidekick so I cant comment on it. But you could pretty much get by with the rulebook if you are inventive and imaginative enough. The genre books and such just make it easier. Note: Dont let Steve Long know what I just said.

I finally got around to getting the Firefly DVD last Wed. And I have watched the first 2 of the 4 DVDs. The one thing about the universe I keep going back to in my mind are the Reavers. Due to the fact, there is so little info in the series about them (practically all heresay). So I was wondering if anyone has specualated on their "culture". For example: I myself wonder, are they really insane, or are they just uber-sadistic pirates. I do have to admit they could fit into many starfaring universes. So thoughts?

Re: Villians of Redwood Academy Hmm. Well seeing as how she sneaked up on him. I can see that now (i just assumed being older sister she had gone to college or something). But excuse me now while I claw out my eyes. Though I didnt mention it before. I do have to say I like the concept of Body Bag. I believe I will have to file him away. He does seem like a perfect between campaigns adventure villain.

Re: WWYCD: The Gentleman Bandit Vs Doctor Sleazoid (LONG) Badger would in #1 Probably arrest the Doc and give the couple "a 5-minute head start" to get away. Though he probably wouldnt bother to chase. #2 I'll come back later...... #3 Probably sneak in one shot of his own to take out the Doc (may or may not be a killing attack) Then see most of #1 back to #2 Well he would save the girl first, then go for the Doc at this point he might be a worked up (badger does have an Enraged after all) about what has happened (depending on how much they have teamed up he might consider the bandit a friend, badger is a reformed villain, and yadda yadda). The Doc wont be eating solid food for a long time (and that is if he gets off easy)

Re: Cobra!! I dont know let's see Stormshadow-would have typical ninja skills (except more advanced) mostly Firefly- was saboteur, knowledge and skill w/ explosive would be a big one for him. Zartan and his siblings- would have disquise and stealth. Zartan (not sure about siblings) had a wierd skin reaction to sunlight if I remember (Physical Lim?) Dreadnoks- Torch, Ripper, Buzzer, Monkey Wrench, Thrasher has their own little specialty weapon. Could go on and on Anyway as far as the heiarchy (in no necessary order) Serpentor Cobra Commander Destro Baroness Major Blood Zartan, his borther and sister, Dreadnoks (Torch, Ripper, Buzzer, Monkey Wrench, Thrasher) Stormshadow Firefly Tomax & Xamot Dr Mindbender w/ unnamed troops Tele-Vipers Crimson Guard BATS (these were the androids, I think that was the name) the regular soldiers wearing blue w/black masks (what were they called anyway) .....if any others feel free to list ......and these are off top of my head with little watching of the since the 80s (maybe I have better memory than thought, though it is driving me a little crazy not to remember Zartan's siblings names, please help )

Dont know if this has come up but here goes...... I was wondering if there was any rule, computer program, whatever that deals with 2 armies in battle in HERO. Any where it can be found.

Re: WWWYCD: Caught in the Web Badger is secretive so this would be an annoyance (the more personal stuff, anyway), on the other hand if it is a decent looking woman who is behind it. Well Badger hasnt had a date in a long time. Other characters in the group frosty Bob- Well he has had his share of lady friends.... Weasel- our power armor guy. Well talk about an ego trip. Though the fact that he is a fairly unathletic 300+ pounds........those pics . In any case his ego would be out of control. Bumblefly- he is a jack-of-all-trades expert hacker(among many other tech skills). It wouldnt be too hard to screw this site up if need be

Re: Cobra!! Yeah Sgt Slaughter was lame (I realized this as a less than 10 year old). I would have to argue the point of low defenses just because of the fact they practically made Sgt Slaughter a bleeping super-powered character on that cartoon. Also one reason for some loss of interest. (thanks to slaughter I no longer freaked out over missing an episode ) But enough of me rambling.

I have been playing last couple of hours on my old Unreal Tounament game. It hit me what about Unreal Tournament HERO? Probably wont get around to playing anything like that. But I was thinking it would be interesting just the same. Any thoughts? Ideas on rules?

Re: Cobra!! Oh yeah I just remembered. i remember a GI Joe episode (that I got to re-watch a year or 2 ago on CN). Where Cobra took control of 3 ghosts (Roman soldier, a barbarian woman archer, and a WWI American pilot) by possession of a prized object of these in life (lucky coin, wedding ring, girlfriend's locket?). They could also be supers for Cobra if need be. Sorry, if I threw so much in, just trying to cover all bases for ya

Re: Cobra!! I forgot about those BAT androids (how could I? ) Anyway, one good thing about androids, if you need a villain super, just bring an android or 3 in for upgrade. Though Cobra-La (if brought in) might have some supers. I seem to remember a big guy with wings. Dont know for sure about them, I quit watching at about that point.

Sounds like Goku from dbz (and a couple other anime characters) Anyway I call these types "Rain Man of Fighting" This is unlike Superman who is pretty stupid in every situation including fighting.
