Ha, they put in a couple of "roundabouts"* near my home recently, and I have been known to do fast laps around them with the kids in the back seat.  I don't use a little red wagon, but that may be mainly due to the fact that I don't own a little red wagon, not because I have good parental judgment.

    * In quotes because all they did was put concrete circles in the middle of existing intersections.  I'm sure this is supposed to slow traffic, but in reality it's just destroying cars and hurting people.

If I ever play in a game when I am communicating (a rarity), I do not tolerate that kind of behavior. My wife plays Battlefield and she is better than I am1. Talking crap about her because she is a female is a surefire way for me to switch teams and go tag hunting (it is, for whatever reason, considered a great insult to kill somebody with a knife and be rewarded with their virtual dog tags). Being as I have absolutely no regard for my K/D ratio, I will get the scumbags tags, I will mock him for it and I will remind him of his manners. So yeah, I agree with that a lot. The persons sex has nothing to do with their ability to lay the virtual smack down on the virtual opponents.

I think that they started down a path, some seasons back, that changed the tone of the show. It really worked as a gritty, street level "Dark Champions" story. Not so much when the Arrowverse expanded to include super-powered metas and Arrow tried to keep up. If Oliver had somehow lightened up during that time and became more swashbuckler and less grimdark, it might have worked. As it was, there was too much brooding from one side, while the rest of the show wasn't. In this case, the contrast did not make the show better. And as much as Damien Darkh injected a sense of humor into the show, that season in particular was tonally abrasive. The addition of magic to the mix was forced and clumsy as well.

Another thing is the inclusion, every season, of some massive threat to Star City and perhaps the world. It worked for the first season, but it has become too often used. There is also, every season, a Rocky-esque comeback. Arrow meets a bad guy that outclasses him. Arrow gets beat. Arrow broods. Arrow makes miraculous comeback and "digs deep" into his reservoir of Heroic Action Points and comes out the winner. All-in-all, it makes more mundane threats less threatening and forces the writers to "go big or go home."  Arrow should not have ever been like that, IMO. It should have always been where saving the mayor from an assassination plot should have been a minor arc in the show or rooting out some vast, criminal conspiracy. The Master Villain of the Season is somehow worse than Monster of the Week.

It can make a comeback, but it has to do so by changing its formula and deliberately snubbing things that would make a Superman series good.

Finished watching the Agents of SHYDRA.

Perhaps it is my delusional, binge watching state of mind, but was that whole season a commentary on the Trump presidency?  It had a class of people (immigrants/inhumans) being discriminated against by an entrenched population. You had a sanctuary for these folks (Sanctuary Cities/SHIELD). You had a politician vying for the control of that population (Trump/That Senator Lady) and even a secret Russian collusion connection, run by a highly trained Russian special forces operative, which is not too far off from the accusations of Putin (a highly trained KGB agent) meddling in the US. The dog dudes do a reasonable stand-in for ICE and the Hydra mercenaries can almost be connected to the so-called "Alt Right." I realized that about episode 16 or 17 and laughed.

You know what? Who cares? It was a pretty awesome story with some pretty great character dramas. If the authors needed to draw from current events as a backdrop, they did so in a way that was almost subtle or perhaps even subconscious. Besides, Ghost Rider and...wait for it....MADAME HYDRA! What an awesome origin story for Madame Hydra! The end of that arc was less than satisfying, but the lead up to Madame Hydra's introduction was golden. This season pretty much set the gold standard for Agents of SHIELD. After Season 3, which rapidly went sideways after the coolness of the Hydra planet, I was relieved and pleased by Season 4.

Shame that Marvel's Agents of Shield put out a far better Ghost Rider than the movies named after him.

My interpretation --and maybe it's just me-- is that Yogi isn't actually smarter than the average bear. In fact, there are plenty of indications that Boo-Boo is actually smarter. It's a delicious confection of ironic texts and subtexts that mine comedy from the chasm that yawns between Yogi's understanding of the world, and the world as it actually is.

Also, Yogi is always falling into Old Faithful, and that stuff's comedy gold.

I find it a little amusing that Sony's costume doesn't really look like something he could have made at home, when presumably it was, and Marvel's does - when it was made by Stark.

Yeah and no one wants to pay taxes so you have a shut down of public works. Libraries close and parks aren't as clean because the municipalities can't pay for it. Thanks to the NO TAX groups.

Yeah, Portland's pretty good over all but I live in a fairly well to do part of town (save for my building, Go Property Values!) and I'm astounded by how many people here think it's fine to pick up their dog poop and then leave a bag of dog poop on the ground.

That's worse than just leaving the crap! At least that will eventually bio degrade. Your plastic baggy not so much. And there are waste stations almost every friggin block, you Bollocks.

Not really hopeful at all.  Yes Frakes knows his Trek, but CBS has been clear they are changing the rules and discarding those pesky Trek guidelines to tell edgier stories.

When Harley Quinn is portrayed as more heroic than WW or Superman, there is a problem.
