  1. I have a hero export that does the math. Yeah speed is a muffin fluffer.
  2. To our fallen friend we raise a glass and make a toast. May he always roll low on attacks and high on damage. May the binding on his books never break and may he always find what's he's looking for in the Tome that is Hero.

We will miss you our brother.

  3. Still playing around with formatting HTML and other stuff. Nothing serious yet.
  4. Yeah I was thinking about just doing the movement. While this is coming off as D20 (shush haters), a friend is doing a Monk/Martial Artist from an African style Tribe that is able to harness the Cheetah's speed to do quick moves so many times per day.
  5. What I'm working on is a movement power (spell?) where the Speed is raised to 7. That's it +5 Speed (since most start at 2 Speed) but the most it will give you is a max of 7. So it doesn't matter if you're 2, 4 9; you get a speed 7. Cheetah's Pace is an ability where you travel at 66MPH, just like the animal. BUT since your movement is partly based on your phases/round the math can be weird.
  6. Yeah, that's why I was wondering if there was a way in the Export to see, I'm guessing it'd have to be added to the code itself then? It could be done with the user editing the table to add the appropriate <table></table> tag and having them flex-boxed next to each other. Just trying to get it as automated as possible.
  7. Is there an easy way to do multi-column tables by dividing the output? for example something like this:
  8. I'd make it Side Effects of the Armor depending on if this is a found/cursed item or what.
  9. Complications in 6th, Disadvantages before that.

Your welcome. It was something to do along with the Decoder Ring card.
  11. I believe you can pay more to get a faster recovery
  12. The only thing about the END Reserve (if your doing RAW) is that each power has to pay extra for being able to draw it from the Reserve or Personal.
  13. Ah but IIRC the "can't do more than double" is for Heroic level games, not Super-heroic.
  14. I believe it does the added damage to both games. I don't know about RAW, but me personally I would only do the +8d6 as energy. Than again all of it depends on how it's written up.
  15. Someone suggested this on Twitter/YouTube. It's a site where you can look up Tanks/Aircraft/Naval Ships/Weapons etc by Era as well as by weapon I believe. Probably usable for Western and Pulp Hero along with Deark Champions. It boasts 5,500 entries. https://www.militaryfactory.com/
  16. a) Give your episodes titles? b) Do you give origins to all your villains c) Are your important NPCs stated out? d) Do you go above and beyond the duty with special props for any of your games? e) anything else? a) Only after the fact. Like Two and a Half Men I like to pull the title from a quote in the Episode. b) I'll give them a few sentences as an idea, but I won't do a full write-up until it's all done. c) No, not until their 3rd major appearance. d) Only if I have the time. e) Like Aaron Allston if it's a long term campaign and we take a break I'll write a short summary of what went on the 'season' before. I'll also pass out short forms for people to say what they've been doing during the downtime.

  19. Standard Senses are listed in 6e vol1 pg 209. Each one gives an idea of 'selling them back' as Dan comments. It's also a good way to price how much they would cost for a computer to buy a 'normal human sense' without anything like ultra-sonic hearing, infra-red vision, etc.
  20. In Champion's Powers (6e) they give an example of the Nega Beam (pg376). A Darksied Omega-Beam type effect that is written up as a summon (1.679 POINT summon!). You could take a look at that and see how it was written, tone it down for what you're looking for.
  21. I have currently been writing thought pieces about Hero and other topics on my blog. This is the current one about looking at Hero System Math.
