    Here's the "old" stats. I'm in the r=process of changing a few things so they will change. We were working on the concept of autokills in 40K being NNDs.   2. Don't feel bad. I drive about that every other week end to play. Luckly I'm also getting to se my son that weekend as well.
  3. A couple examples of martial arts using weapons would be nice. Something along the line of a archer or swordmaster MA
  4. I'd say rather the character pays or not would depend on the campaign. You can have players build heroic characters and then be "given" the mech as equipment. You could also make them pay for the mech as a vehicle. Either could work, it would merely depend on what you as the GM want to do.
  5. I've seen a Elven Archer Martial Arts. I'd work up or copy a Martial Art that fits a race of not strong but agile race. Nothing I've read would lead one to believe Elves are any better in HTH than any other race. But, they are known for the agility and "weaker" frames. So anything that uses the opponents movements against them would be a good fit.
  6. Hope your have something on psionic characters. Not a total writeup but using existing rules in a fantasy setting
  7. Robot Warriors is a good book to have. Lot's of neat itdeas in it
  8. I've found several places with most spells and such worked up. What I do is strictly for me so I've converted and corrupted a bit. I'm sure they'r open FR to OGL some in the future. Only time will tell

    40K Hero

    Actually the idea from the start was a squad based campaign. It's grown into other ideas as well. Squad based, Rogue trader style, Necrumunda. The idea of a Star Hero campaign in the 40K universe has also been mentioned. Basically have adventurers in that setting So far it's working pretty well. Still getting the bugs worked out of the weapon stats and start working on vehicles.
  11. The main complaint I alwasy heard was 'You have to take disadvantages". You can try and explain till you blue in the face, but to no avail. I finally had one guy explain his D&D character, as he told me about his character I'd right down disadvantages he would have in hero. When I showed him the list he shut-up. He still hated the game he never played. Just had to come up with new excuses.
  12. Make them by it per Char based skill. ie..Dex, Int..ect. Make it a little more expensive for the character, but could also make it alittle less abused
  13. Their could be many threats Powerful Demons or Devils Group of other powerful mages working together Nasty up a Dragon or two, that should keep them busy for a little bit anyway

    40K Hero

    Working on a campaign using the Warhammer 40K Universe. Right now the characters are a squad of Imperial Guard Catachans. Their assigned to Black Company of the Catachan 128th. 129th gets the worst assignments and Black Company gets the worst of them. Still working on getting everything fleshed out as we go. Have had to rework the weapons a couple times. Trying to get the "feel" of 40K, but payable at the same time. An ongoing process to say the least, but we having a good time.

    Babylon 5 Hero

    I'm assuming that most campaigns will either be the command group, rangers or security? Having problems coming up with other groups. I have a large group I play with
  16. i'm gonna pick it up. Not sure if I will use it as my campaign, but after reading the playtest script I do want to have it around.
  17. While most characters can be seen as offshoots or copies of existing Comic Heroes. The backgrounds and modification stops them from being copies. I have a hero that glides around, walks up walls and can cut open cars with his claws. While some aspects are copies of Wolverine or Spiderman as a whole it's a new character. Let's face it after 50-60 years of comics it's hard to design a 100% never before seen hero. Herc is a copy of Thor, in some respects. But totally different in the finished product.
  18. Dpending on how it functions in a game I don't see a problem. It's just a improved version of Jack Of All Trades
