I wonder why propeller driven cars never caught on? They look like they'd be an awful lot of fun. . .

I posted the second picture in this Forum several years ago, but it's worth posting again to compliment the first picture. From the mind of Hugo Gernsback--if you're looking for a mechanical monster to terrorize your PCs, you can hardly do better than this--
  7. Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon "While much remains mysterious about Rebel Moon, the story will center on a peaceful colony located at the edge of the galaxy that is threatened by the armies of a tyrant who must seek out warriors to stand against this evil." Sounds very much like Battle Beyond The Stars. Perhaps Kate Upton could play the busty warrior maiden, ya think?

Here's some Bad Guys for your Shadow/Spider/Black Bat emulators to contend against-- The outfits of the people being threatened put this, I think, in the late Forties/early Fifties--but I can't see why someone couldn't use this in the pre-World War II America.
  10. Which is why I specified US (United States) HEROes. I certainly don't expect our cousins from other lands to fly the US Flag. Or even the flag of their own nation.

  12. A Symbol Of Unity That May No Longer Unite How about it, all you US HEROes? Do any of you fly the US Flag?
  13. Swap out the propeller for a turbojet engine, and you've got yourself a superhero's ride.
  14. If it helps, all those sketches were ad-libbed. No script involved, just Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas shooting the breeze in character. That's always cool, eh?
  15. The figures are Bob and Doug Mackenzie, who originated in a Second City TV (SCTV sketch) about two brothers who had their own Public Access TV show called The Great White North. It was supposed to be devoted to all things Canadian, but it was mostly devoted to them drinking beer, frying back bacon, and saying "Good Day, Eh?" and "Take Off, Hoser!" all the time. It was ridiculously popular for its time (the Eighties) and spawned a movie (Strange Brew) and may have even been the inspiration for the Wayne's World SNL sketches. Hope that helps.
  16. Nonononono. This is how it goes-- Oh, Ca-na-da, We Love Ya Much, Oh, Ca-na-da, We Do Love Youuuu, Aaaaaa, Bunnnnch!
