You can say anything you like
But you can't touch the merchandise
She'll give you every penny's worth
But it will cost you a dollar first

The setting is the Winter War. A battalion of Soviet infantry is making its way through the wintry pine forests of northern Finland. When in bivouac one night, far off they hear someone shout:
"One Finn is worth two Russians!"
The commander of the unit sneers and sends off two of his men to deal with the shouter. After a while, a fire fight can be heard in the distance. Then a shout:
"One Finn is worth five Russians!"
The commander scowls and sends off five men to deal with the shouter. A more intense fire fight is heard. Then:
"One Finn is worth a hundred Russians!"
The commander is really annoyed now, and sends off a hundred men to silence the shouter once and for all. A fire fight breaks out in the distance, lighting up the silent forest with a hellish glow. Then silence.
After a while, one of the detached Russians can be seen staggering back through the snow. When close to the camp he shouts:
"Watch out, comrades! There are two of them!"

No, that entity still hasn't been officially identified. The Time-Beast is first mentioned and written up in Book Of The Empress which describes all things V'han. It's a monster which can move through time and across dimensions. It's very tough, but doesn't wield that kind of cosmic power. The Time-Beast is known to meddle in the time stream causing chaos, and to hunt and devour time- and dimension-travelers. It's speculated that the Beast may be a pet of some cosmic being, but its actions appear random.

I'd like to see an updated Beamline, myself. I had the idea that he would try and form his own villain team--the Society for Scientific Supremacy, an organization he hoped would realize his dreams of a scientific oligarchy. I figured he'd recruit such characters as Avar-7, Ladybug, Thunderbolt (pre-Ultimates) and Vibron (the original) While the first two may be "forgotten," the other two already have a place in the current Champions Universe. Perhaps Charger could be brought back and given a place in the Society, and the original Vibron brought back and given a new name. Or you could find other science and tech-oriented villains to join with Beamline.
Hope that helps.
