And yes, I am giving it to Heroic Halfwit--because frankly, I was a bit underwhelmed by the responses to this picture, and he actually put some thought into the character.  Perhaps next time I'm up I'll find an image that provides greater inspiration.  Until then, let's see what Heroic Halfwit can do.

Golden Age Champions is text-complete and turned in, ready for layout! Woot! Just north of 155k words in final form, with a chunk saved over for the Secret Files later (including the Golden Age lineup of the Justice Squadron, who didn't make the cut.) So, that's probably about 240 pages of text, not including the timeline and the weapons/vehicles sheets, probably about 270 all told.

Normally I'm not a fan of Seth MacFarlane--but this looks like Star Trek meets Guardians Of The Galaxy.  I may give this a shot.

I've done it. At many sci-fi and fantasy cons, there are panels where the participants are given notebooks and told to write the first paragraph of a story. The notebooks are then passed around and the story is continued by the next person, while you get to continue the story started by the person who just handed you their notebook. This continues until everyone has contributed to all of the notebooks, or when the time is up. This leads to some pretty mixed-up stuff as the tale takes unexpected directions.

I really wish they would have GR show up in Defenders. Would tie the universes together more, he fits their level of power and would actually work as a Defender, I think. Either that or do a team up of him and Punisher, then you could have a really dark series.

To my mind, Galaxy Quest wasn't so much about satirizing Star Trek as it was about satirizing the actors playing it.  Apart from the opening scene, we saw very little of the actual show, just the actors trying to live up to their roles.
