  1. I was thinking about this so I decided to post this as a thread where the assembled here could post home-made MA's. What I hope to see are any maneuver's that others have created. Martial Maneuver’s 5 pt's: Redirect, takes one phase: 1+1 phase, -1 OCV, +1 DCV, Block, requires that you have an action, indirect (same origin, always comes from the one attacking you; +1/4), [this was in the follow thread: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39153] 5 pt’s: Redirect 2, takes one phase, +1 OCV, +1 DCV, Block; requires that you have an action, indirect (same origin, always comes from the one attacking you: +¼). I hope that I can get some of the creative minds here to post. I do know that I will be adding the best ones into my list of MA's that I create or others create. I want to thank anyone that responds. This is also in the General Roleplaying area.
  2. Re: Vehicle as automatons I didn't want to use the names as we have been asked not to do anything on the boards with CLOWN, but I'm not actually posting any C, just an idea about how to do a team like them with an intelligent AI, that happens to be a car/vehicle.
  3. Re: Vehicle as automatons CLOWN and TeeHee
  4. Re: Vehicle as automatons True, but I don't know any way to have it act like it should as I see it when it get's hit. It 'feels' the damage it takes, you would have to come up with a way to do that for a vehicle, but you can do that with an automaton. Your right about the extra stuff, the growth, the ability to carry without grabbing, and the def, but it can be done, just expensive.
  5. Re: Vehicle as automatons The reason I was going to do it as a automaton was for simple build. I love making vehicles, but with this one I can see it as an automaton. Plus being 'TeeHee' I see it as a character, but a AI controling a Car is a Character. We will see if I do the automaton or in the end do it as a vehicle and AI.
  6. Re: Herophile Fantasy art looks like thread is back to life.....let's hope it stays alive
  7. I was wondering if anyone had doen this? I am thinking about doing it as I am recreating a certain car from an old and to some people's minds, better left undone classic C.L.O.W.N.. I feel it would be easier to do this certain car as an automaton. Any idea out there on doing it.
  8. Re: Help! Sci Fi TV show... ArK II was fun for a Saturday show, but then at that time any SciFi was fun even if it was bad SciFi.
  9. Re: Religion Hero?? Very intresting. I wonder just how it would feel. I did play in the late 80's in a DnD with a Christian background. It was fun and I did like it alot. It was a home-run idea of an friend of mine.
  10. Re: My first post... Welcome to you and yes I my self started playing in the hero system just after the little blue blue came out. I hope you still get to play now and then.
  11. Re: your campaigns "Superman". In the game I am running we don't actually have a Superman type, but I do have a Flying-Brick, she's the All-American Girl. She has the strength and some of the speed, and will eventually gain most of the 'Superman' powers. But....If I had to say the real "Superman-personalty" C would have to be a MA with water-air based elemental powers. Emerald Dragon, she is the moral center of the team, the leader without being the leader. She asks the hard questions of the others of the team, plus she has the mentality to be the type of 'super' that can be what we all see as a "Superman" C. She is part of the first supers on my Jump Start World, supers=Jump Starts. She has even helped the 'first' supervillian become a hero, he is married to her.
  12. Re: Looking for NEW words of transformation: (SHAZAM, Thunder! Thunder!...) All I care about this is that Lina Inverse rules. A 16 yr old master mage, that is cute and could eat you out of house and home. BTW Repped.
  13. Re: Well, what a fine mess I've gotten into I am the golfer C. I am looking foward to this and I have done PBEM, so I'll be able to help my old friend incridbil. I am looking foward to this, incridbil happens to be in my mind a great GM so this will just be a new experance for him.
  14. Re: UNITY 2010: A New Champions Campaign I will miss this. So Bill you'd better post your next game. PLEASE!!!!
  15. Re: Mental Powers Based on DEX Martial Maneuver 5 pt's, redirect, takes one phase, -1 OCV, +1 DCV, Block, requires that you have an action, indirect (same origion, always comes from the one attacking you; +1/4), now that is one way I'd do it. Now you can do it as a simple attack action.
  16. Re: Time Travel: Extra Dimensional Movement or a VPP? I am going to be doing a time travel/dimension hopping game. Mostly what I'm going to do is add a Quantum Leap aspect to it. The C's will have knowledge of how the 'presant' was and they may have to fix or make the past go the way it had to, or sometimes to make that it didn't. Mostly the way I am going to deal with the time travel into the past is a 'past that wasn't'. It will be a simular past or not. I know that making most of the backward travel being in an alternate past will make it alot less possiable to mess up the future.
  17. Re: Bubble gum crises to hero Now that was a good way of doing that. REPPED!!!
  18. Re: Star Hero Campaigns the rest of the files
  19. Re: Star Hero Campaigns These are a some of the ships I came up for a Star Hero type game. Please look over and feel free to use. If you do deside to use them please let me know. I'd like to know if I helped someone else with something neat.
  20. Re: how would you do this thanks
  21. Re: how would you do this I was going to do it that but wouldn't you have to use the special advantages for calling it. Amicable: Slavishly Devoted @ +1, and then Specific Being @ +1. The thing is that it can't act on it's own so I can't see the advantages being needed, but I could be wrong.
  22. I have a C that I am creating that creates vehicles and equipment from he's mind. I know that I have to build them as vehicles. The probleam is how would you have them appear if they are not actual 'real world objects'.
  23. Re: Chronology, Continuity, Comics and Champions Well the game I am running right now was started on 7/4/1995. I have to move the game upto early 2016, so I have to be aware of time and it's movement. The PC's all know that they will age, change and (I have one player who has a C that will not grow personalty wise, that will....even if I have to make it happen, happen). The reason for the need to go thru the 20+ years is that this world has a direct connection to one that has run for over three real years and over 11 game time years. I have the game more or less ploted out for the complete 20+ yrs. The two worlds are in many ways an Earth 2 (Defender Earth: DEF) and Earth 1( Jump Start Earth: JSE) type worlds. The first one is Earth 1 and my world is a Earth 2. The two worlds are interdimensionaly connected, meaning the the two worlds will have to work together to save each other in a few game years, DEF years. I played in a game that ran from over 13 yrs, it had a full history. Heroes aged, died, married, had kids. They changed and grew, it is one of the things I want and need to happen for my personal enjoyment and my players.
