  1. 1) can a character combind powers from two different frameworks in a single multiple power attack? (Ex. a flash is in an EC while an EB is in a MP) 2) If so could a character take link as a -0 modifier on either one to represent it having to be used 3) NEW question, about Multiple powers attack, if both powers come from one F/X (Let us say it is a magical gun) that you have skill levels for (+2 with Guns) would you have to "split" your skill levels, or could you apply all of them to the roll? I hope this question makes sense...
  2. A mage character wants to have unlimited clips for there gun, how do you do this? In essense once every 12 shots he wants to have to reload a clip, but never run out of them... My personal method right now is to tell him to buy clips to the limit and fake it from there (House rule says charges can never cost more that if the power was built using 0 end and uncontrolable)

  8. So who would a DS work against in a normal Champs game? Some speedsters (Those with out some form of friction force field) Some MA (Those that don't use weapons) Some Grunts (those that don't use guns) My experience says the normal (NON STREET LEVEL) character does not run into many of those

    GLC Clones

    I was wondering what other ideas people have had, mine is not that original, but does draw on enough different sources to make it seem that way Star Knights The star Knights are a law enforcement agency for what is known as the Milkey Way Galaxy. The knights are answerable to the Council (a group of knights), each knight is given broad authority similar to what was common in the old west. Essentialy a Knight will be given an area to patrol sent out to it, will be allowed to recruit others in the location to deputise (AKA Squires), etc... To become a knight the individual is injected with Noanites that increase there physical prowels, grants them the ability to learn languages quickly (matter of minutes), and most importantly to interface with SK Equipment. The knights are equipt with a suit proviing for defense, life support, flight, etc They are also given a sidearm capable of shooting energy or forming an energy blade Finaly most are also equipt with one of a number of special vehicles (This provides non tactical flight normaly, IE FTL)

One problem with your analysist: Ragamufion the Martial Artist is fighting Fire Boy the flaming hero: If Fireboy uses his Fireblast and spreads there is not much that Ragamufion can do about it, but at the same time if Fireboy is using his Flame Shield Ragamufion can SEE that it is up, and then avoid it by figuring out another way (Start throwing stuff at him?) So while the damage potential is there, the odds of the damage happening is much less with the DS
  18. Not that it will help much here BUT: I have a character who can learn languages in about 1 minute of hearing it, Bought it as Linguist, then reserved some points so he could "Learn" Languages in game...
  19. FOr me it seems WAY over priced now. Most of the complaints I have heard revolve arond munchkin powers, not the basic 8d6 EB DS, so I make people who take DS also take a +1 IF the power is a munchkin (Think AF here)

I think I may be the start of this rumor, as when DC: Animated was anounced as a posibility I sugested that instead of making it a sub genera book it be made into a global modifier type thing (Combind with Fantasy to get Thundar, combine with Dark Champions to get B:TAS, combine with Champions to get Justice League, etc...)...As I recall I was quite vocal on the issue...

Chaos, assuming you are asking Who the Guadians of the Galaxy are I will educate you: Marvel Comics: In the future a reptilian race will invade and conquer the earth, this race (The Badoon IIRC) will enslave earth and it's collonies. A team of 4 heroes will go back in time to get help to save the earth, these four are the original Guardians: Vance Astro (Aka Major Victory): Vance was a 20th century astronaut who agreed to be put in Cyrogenics to be the first man to land on Centari IV. However in the 1000 years he layed frozen earth discovered FTL and met him when he landed at the collony on that world. The trip awakened his Mutant Power of Psycokinetic Blasts. Yondu: A native of Centari IV who befriended Vance, when the Badoon attacked Centari IV they killed all the humans and natives (Not quite, they found some more later on) except him and Vance who managed to escape to earth, exceptional Archer with a bow that the arrows resopond to wistles Charlie-27: A jovian (a geneticaly engineered human off shoot to survive Jupitors Heavy gravity) soldier who was on a solo patroll returned home to fine the Badoon attacking, retreated to Pluto where he met Martinex (the last Plutonian). Charlie is a heavy brick. Matinex was a scientist from pluto with natural fire and ice powers. They got help in freeing there world by the defenders.   22. For what you describe, start with the VPP, NCC. Then just give the accidental Change Disad (Waving the requirement for other forms) buy it as automaticaly when powers change (Frequency is depended on how often you see powers changing) . Then give the Physical Limitation Disad (Mental could work also depending on how your GM Views it) of MPS
  23. My personal fix for this I call the AF Fix. Essentialy you do not need continous, if you are putting it on a normal attack (Normal damage) it costs +1/2, if you put it on a "weird" power construnct (A NND, A a adjustment power, etc...) then there is a +1 modifier as per AF. I have expanded "Basic Attack" to include Ego Blast, but no other mental power (The reason for this is that it will still cause damage and having to "touch" mentaly cuts the versitility
  24. Don't sweat the small stuff, stick the -1/4 on it and call it good. Build the power to cover the whole sight group...
  25. Another option is to limit there jurisdiction. If the GLC only were in the Galaxy (opposed to the universe) you have many other galaxies for villains.
