  1. Point of clarification, the ring did not provide the LS, the tran suits did, they were essentialy part of there uniforms

  4. Well it would have to be +3 OCV/DCV (maybe +4 depending on break points) Second I would probably allow it in a Multipower, but not otherwise
  5. What about powers that do similar things in different ways? Example, IIRC correctly from the playtest the EMP power was dispell based, when I designed the same power (Years earlier) I used an RKA base (a foci destroyer)

    I know this much about Gargoyle, he was one of the original playtesters characters but the player had other plans for him (it mentions this in the letter pages of one of the issues)
  8. FOR SOMETHING ENTIRELY DIFFERENT COnsider applying the following advantages to it: Continous, uncontrolled, (0 end as well, but that might be placed on the sword itself) then the sword will continue to burn the person after the attack (The first attak is at 1d6 HKA)

Okay, as some of you know by now I have started a thread of four way battles, between three different teams of champions (4th, 5th, and C:NM) also throwing the guardians, these are the future matches I have planned, any comments on changing them or the order they should be in would be welcome...   12. Lower the Con (to about 40), by some more as "Non Persistent" He is quite easy to get a good blow on at first I would suggest a defensive MP that includes desolid (with various advantages and limitations) for when he does the bullets can't hurt me while I just stand/fly here routine

Most agents in my world are built on 75+75 points in disads, this includes about 75 points in gear (Blaster Combine-40, Armor-20, Helmet- 15) blaster Combine: 8d6 EB: AF-5, Charges 30 x4 clips, OAF Armor 10/10 armor OIF Helmet (all OIF): 5 Flash Defence, Radio Hearing/Transmit, +1 vs all range attack penalties, UV or IR Vision

The Bowman would keep fighting the agents, he leaves badguys like Dr D to the ones who can fight it Bastion: Force dome around the good doctor and start performing surgery, he is a living being and deserves a right to redeam himself (Bastion would think Hitler could be redeamed) Star Knight: would most likely try to stabalise him and take him to the intergalactic tribunal, but if he died he would not care that much
  18. 1) I have noticed that it is normal practice to base the defence of a NND on a power (IE Life suport seems to be the most common), do you have to, or could you name a power type Ex: The choking hands of Uklu: 1d6 RKA, NND, Does Body, 0 end, continous, AE: Accurate with the NND defence being having spell casting abilities? 2) Can it also be having them do something? Same power as above, stops if/when the character makes a magic skill roll
  19. Both are right by the book, in my game I would allow the character to take a larger VPP but cap the Active Limit
  20. I like the fake chip idea, the onboard computer could even "read" the request, allowing for the car to do the right thing or ignore it at will... And no I did not see anything on a fake chip in the book, but it might be in there somewhere
  21. To add a little bit of info, I asked Steve about this a while ago (In a chat), his answer was that he did not feel that defenses had been lowered. I suspect the reason for the change might be in what Steve was use to in his own games, to my knowledge he never admited to it being a change (admittingly it is not a change in the rules, but rather in the guidelines)

  23. If I want a "driver" style character with a souped up car I can't do it because of the MC Technology (This assumes as written) So I thought I would here advice (Other than ignore that part of MC) to work around it, Psudo Science at its best
  24. I don't know, but the current standards seem to be about 5 points to low (an Average of 25, Range 15- 35) What do you all think? (Still use the 2.5 method personaly)
