I went to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever yesterday.  Excellent performances by all involved and Ryan Coogler is a heck of a director.  Even though the movie clocks in at over two and a half hours, it doesn't have a wasted minute (though on the dark side that does make finding a time to run to the restroom hard).
 
However, the BP2 isn't one Marvel's action comedies, so if you go to MCU movies expecting to laugh this might not be the movie for you.
 
I am curious to hear what a Namor fan thinks about it.  They make some big changes to the character, but in other things they are surprisingly faithful to the original.

Well, to give Smiley a *bit of* benefit of the doubt, report is only 2/3 of the votes are in.  But AP called it, and reversing a large gap at this point isn't likely.

Note that Smiley's leading in the rural counties, while Murray's crushing it in the big ones.  And judging by the totals and percentages...King County has another 300,000 votes or so to come in.  That's +49...or basically 75-25, or 3 to 1 in Murray's favor right now.  I also find the map interesting, showing how sharp the geographic divide is.
 
I haven't looked exhaustively, but there are at least 3 Republicans coming from the media...Kari Lake was a TV anchor, Tudor Dixon was a streaming anchor, and Mark Ronchetti a TV meteorologist...that ran to be their state's governor.  All 3 lost.

Spider-Man is still controlled by Sony, and only loaned back for guest appearances. Sony was busy filming and marketing their recent hit Marvel character film featuring Jared Leto.

Quite a few years ago now, I remember...I think he was an assistant manager at a local supermarket I went to enough, so got to know most of the regulars.  Saw him in there, shopping, when I realized...I'd not seen him in quite a while.  Turned out?  He rode.  With bike leathers and a helmet.  He got hit by a truck that ran a light, or couldn't stop in time...I forget.  But the truck's fault.  Extensive injuries...but obviously, he lived, and it wasn't worse because he was wearing his helmet, and semi-protective clothing.  OK, road rash might've been the least of his problems but it's no joke either.  Infection is definitely a non-trivial risk, and that can complicate everything else that has to be done.

Well, race and/or sex swaps are pretty much par for the course with reincarnation.
 

All of that, and Kentucky has Lockheed Martin, BAE, Northrop Grumman, and a Department of Defense hub. Mitch is all about military spending, this philosophically aligns with his decades long approach, and it’s certainly in our national security interest. I don’t see him bailing on that issue.

The belief is that the lawyers are playing the long game. That a ruling against the ICWA would be a stepping stone on the way to rulings that would help their fossil fuel clients.
 
It is deemed unconstitutional to make a law saying that only white people can adopt white children or only black people can adopt black children.  However, it is perfectly constitutional to make a law saying that the children of foreign nationals living in the US in the event of the loss of the parents should be sent back to the nation of the their parent if it can safely be done and does not harm the children.  
 
Therefore, a ruling that the ICWA is unconstitutional is a legal precedent against the sovereign status of the tribes.  Precedents like that are useful when you want to argue that you should be allowed to build a pipeline across a reservation or acquire drilling rights on federal land is considered part of a tribal nation.

Where did you read that?  It hasn't been officially announced, and Tatiana Maslany is saying that she does not know if there will be a second season.  Though, until such time as a second season is officially announced she would say that even if she was aware of plans for a second season.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with "let's make fun of the guys who don't like female superheroes". Those guys are schmucks, as far as I'm concerned.
