Re: Wwycd: They Blew It!! Snapdragon Goes back to her normal life as a college student while working on te side to get the law or whatever repealed as un-constitutonal. Since her hero ID is actually her shapeshifted it'll be very hard for people to run her down in her non heroic ID.

Quantum carrying what ammounts to a green lantern power ring he'd head up into the stratosphere and start making some calculations to figure ut where he was because he can actualy find his way home.

Re: Speed Reading vs Rapid for Normal Sight The way i see it someone with a bunch of rapid reads(listens, whatever) really fast but has the same chance to glaze over something or miss subtle mistakes. (regular people do the same thing all the time) With Analyze you don't have this problem. At least thats my closest guess as to why.

Re: Bonuses to STUN from the Growth Power The reason I have everything costing end is that you have to pay end costs to keep growth going normally so technically you are getting the stats as costing end because as soon as you stop paying the end it goes away. The stretching already costs and and you get the reach from it automatically when you are grown.

"Once more, with Justice" Snapdragon If around her family it would start out in a very sad and quiet tone in a 'why can't you see what you're doing to me' which would shift to a powerful and angry condemnation of her family for treating her the way they do. Quantum would start singing a love song to a certain NPC who is identical to his love interest in the 1/2 second off alternate dimesion he's from. Heaven's sword would be total Japanese punk yelling about all of the abuses his father heaped on him as a child which would probably make most people around him cringe when he starts talking about how he was first slashed across the stomach at age six and all the other physical and mental abuse he went through.

Re: Bonuses to STUN from the Growth Power Well taking into account everythign, when you get 15 points of growth you get: +15 Str costs end twice so real points: 10 +3 body Costs end real points: 4 +3 stun Costs end real points: 2 -3" KB Costs end real points: 4 +1" strteching No NCM real cost: 4 So you get 24 points of powers that you would normally pay for. so take 6 points off for the 2 levels of perception bonus others get on the character which puts you to 18. Then 3 points off for the extra weight as a minor physical limitation based on size. Now you got 15 points for 3 levels of growth. Seems about right to me.

Re: Feints The ammount of time it takes to perform a feint and attack in a sword fight is really about 1/4 of a second more than the attack. Anything slower than that will be seen through before the attacker has a chance to do anything. If you want to just use a skill Slight of Hand is the perfect skill to show it. If you're buying skill levels or powers it would be best to buy them as a opposed skill roll because sometimes people see through the feignt and sometimes they don't.

So I am getting ready for a galactic level champions game (550/150) and in putting together Big Brain (the character I am thinking of playing) I ran across some old files from games where I was making characters a bit over the top. Like Heaven's Sword the 350/150 MA with normal human maxes and yet had a DCV that could hit 30 when he dodged and punched for 14d6 with a 20 STR. Anyone else have a character like that they'd like to share?

Re: Liefeld's Titans So this weekend when I was enptying out my comic box at the local comic book store I talked to the owner and mentioned Teen Titans and Liefeld and we had a few good laughs at Liefelds drawing ability. He told me about the one time he met Liefeld back in the early 90s when the guy basically picked up $600 in merchandice and told the guy "I'll give you 60 for it all" and proceded to try to get the guys banned when they wouldn't hand over the merchandice for 90% off.

What the hell happened to the women's backs, you'd think Bane pulled a back breaker on each and every one of them considering how the spine is bent. Robin's eyes must be 1/4 of an inch across given the size of the eye openings in his mask. How many expressions can the man draw, 1 maybe 2? Wonder Girl isn't the only woman packing something down the front of her tights. What is the deal with Liefeld and big honking equipment pouches?

Snap Dragon Her city would be a wild combining of a modern city and mystic china, possilby with lots of high tech buildings built to strongly resemble ancient chineese buildings. Heaven's sword He'd be in a slightly tweaked version of Tokyo. Quantum ttal city of the future with skyways, miles tall skyscrapers and computer teminals on street corners.

Re: WWYCD: Attraction Loop Quantum would immediatly realize something is wrong as the only person who he's really attracted to is currently happy with someone else and he knows it and hasn't said a word about the attraction to her. Snap Dragon Would find a bevy of older college students she finds herself attracted to hitting on her and freaking her out a little but would happy that all of the "nice Chineese boys" her family is trying to set her up with show the same appeal to her.

Either that or he'll take a sample and create a non toxic counter agent and srpay the city with it. Heavens sword Emotionally repressed teenager that hangs around with com 20+ females most of the time. He'd be doomed under the effects of this spray. His repression would probably still be strong enough to keep him from doing things in public, he'd take them home first then would procede with the various things which he has been want to do for quite some time. Snap Dragon would take a dip in the lake first off to hopefully keep the effect for getting her, then procede to get some type of filter mask and run down the criminals.

Quantum Would spend time spread out between saving civilians, saving rescue workers and helping with anything technical that comes up. Given his powerlevel he might end up doing things like TK'ing a small apartment block and moving it to higher ground to act as emergency shelter. Also might end up transforming the current levies into molecularly alligned steel or somethig similar.

So I'm starting a teen champions type game and I want to have a couple of ... marginal heroes for certain members of the group who seem to take it as thier given rights to hold up the first couple of games by not having anything ready then constantly revising during inital game play. I have given several weeks lead in time as annother member finished the arc of his game so there is no excuse to not have something ready by the time I start. What I want is a 100/100 point character thats just a bit messed up. I don't require an actual write up but I sure won't complain if one is provided.

Quantum would laugh at the fact that the only other male in the group is someone he can barely tolerate making the gay porn all that much more unbelievable. Heavens sword would post highly inflamitory follow ups to the gay stuff as he is somewhat uptight about such things, going so far as to release through the press some of the posters names and a firm denial.

If he doesn't know the team will be asked about ******. Quantum Will first check to make sure it's not a Quantum duplicate of himself, then try to get the gauntlet from his duplicate to see what happened. Re: Building a Super-History... were there super soldier programs during WWII? if so imagine a group of xx Energy projectors created by the Japanese government called Ameterasu's Legion. One thing I did when getting people ready for my last supers campain is I wrote the bullet point history of the world with simple descriptions of the historical events. So you'd have entries like: 1923 First Female costumed hero: The heroine known as Snap Dragon made her first appearance in San Francisco. In acrobats silks and a silk mask she used her impressive martial arts abilities to help protect SF's China town against the Tongs that were increasing the crime in Chinatown to a previously unheard of level. Then add in a famous personages cheat sheet so when you talk about NPCs they have a reference for them. THe cheat sheet is also pretty simple looking like: Erg (active 1944-1961) One of America's super soldiers made in late 1944. Has the power to absorb any type of non kinetic energy and redirect it at will, Has never suffered more than mild disorientation when faced with energy attacks. Finally leave your history line somewhat open so you can add stuff in later when you have a great idea. This all being said feel free to borrow Erg or Snap Dragon for your game.

On that note get the Xmen spanked good by Spidey as he'd be funnier about kicking all thier buts. If Spidey can't take them down, call the Avengers. If the Avengers can't get it done, call the Fantastic Four. If the Fantastic Four can't get it done, wait for the universe to reset.

Re: "Running Systems" off of an END Reserve I forgot when building the AID, you have appropriate limitations on the power like self only, instant loss of power, dropping the price of the AID by at least half.

Re: Overwhelming PRE attacks Inflict a counter PRE attack by a master villan thats leading them, give him Comanding presence +30 PRE, only to inspire followers -1. "No you fools attack them, you cannot loose to the likes of them!" He beats thier presence attack and they keep going. ALternatly someone hits them with a darkness vrs sight and sound, give the schlubs radar visors and when they make the PRE attack say well they can't really see or hear you and to thier radar visors all you are is a vaugely human shape.
